KUUK Wine Aerator Pourer for Red & White Wine (6 Settings)

While this item is well made and very solid and does its job well, the numbers on the stainless steel collar had absolutely no functional value whatsoever. This is an item that was made in China (no surprise) and from past experience, I have noted that it is not uncommon practice to make whatever they are selling look better than it really is! This is another case in point. However, it does infuse the wine quite effectively with the necessary oxygen which improves the wine, especially any red wine. The numbers — as other reviewers have observed — are very much for show and therefore something of a hoax.

Aeration of wines does not depend on vintage and wine type etc, so I can't really see the point of the adjuster. With a new bottle, you just want to get as much air in there as possible. These things work to a certain extent. They'll open up a newly uncorked wine enough to drink, and it'll definitely be better. But, ultimately, these devices are not going to beat having a good wine sit in a carafe for a couple of hours. The only other problem I can forsee is that there are lots of nooks and crannies inside which I can see getting stained after a short time.

Comes in some very attractive packaging (so makes a good present) and amazingly works as claimed. The aerator effect delivers a smoother glass of wine with an entertaining sound effect. Blind tasting held with several friends underlines a strong preference for wine that has passed through the aerator.

I’m very much a wine lover especially red wine and this item opens up the flavour of the wine which you wouldn’t pick up from simply pouring from a bottle.

The size of this aerator is huge compared to others in the market, takes up more space in my cupboard than I'd prefer

The KUUK Twist & Pour wine aerator arrived in a neat box and within was a pouch to store the unit in; I find the pouch a great idea but to me it seems rather too small as I cannot completely draw the strings around the unit, however this is a small point. I actually find the design and look of the unit very aesthetically pleasing and feel it is more likely to be on display rather than it it's pouch, although dust might then be a problem. It is well made and quite robust.The aerator was fairly easy to use though I personally would prefer it to come with a stand so that it could be placed either over a bottle or decanter rather than hoping my hands are steady enough to hold bottle/unit safely over a glass.I was thinking of buying such an article for my husband as a gift and I would definitely buy this one if it had a collapsible stand - or even a fixed stand, then I would probably be prepared to pay more.I was sent this product free of charge in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

Leider kann ich der Einstellmöglichkeit nichts abgewinnen. Zum einen kann einem der Hersteller nicht erklären, was sich mit dem Drehen des Ringes im Gerät verändert und auch geschmacklich kann ich den unterschiedlichen Stufen keine Differenzierung entlocken.Also ein eher gemischtes Gefühl. Wobei man sagen muss, dass der Wein nach der Benutzung des Belüfters deutlich besser schmeckt als zuvor.

Had bought some one during my time in italy over 8 years ago. Celebrating our baby boy birth, we open a bottle. Pouring 1 glass without the aerator and one with it, you can totally tell the difference. Using the aerator you tasted more of the flavor and got a better overall smell. Felt great drinking one, reminded my time living in Italy.

Very well made, would purchase more for gifts!

I have many different Wine Aerators,but never one this beautiful.I love how you can just hold it over a cup and pour the wine straight into the aeratorand have it filter right before your very eyes.The aerator works by passing the wine through air,which helps create a more bodied and full wine for you to consume.It boosts the taste and quality of the wine by extremes unlike just drinking it straight from the bottle.(Science for you! lol)Kuuk Wine Aerator Pourer comes in 6 different settings.to help customize your wine tasting preferences.I personally loved the 4th setting, it wasn't too robust nor was it too flat,it was just right and full of body and flavor!I tested all the different settings individuallyand even tasted the wine before I aerated it.It's hard to put in words because I lack a proper way of explaining itbut the wine before it was aerated was flat and kind of boring.But when it goes though the process, it opens it up beautifully.It tasted smoother and it gave life to a once lifeless thing.I also loved how the device came with a beautiful velvet bag and a nice stand.So when not in use you could either prop it up as a beautiful centerpieceor store it away in that velvet bag.It's so easy to use, you just choose the setting you likeand hold it over your wine glass and pour.That's pretty much it.I will be using this for a long time,especially during the holidays or special occasions.I think this would look marvelous on a table duringChristmas when your family come over to celebrate.It's so stylish and sleek, it makes your wine taste sophisticatedas well as making a very elegant decor item.5/5-The following rating comes from:1 star- Packaging. I already owned a wine aerator so I was shopping for a friend for a gift. I was intrigued by the ability to change the aeration setting so I purchased two. I've tried it out and love it. I've never aerated white wine ever but it actually made a difference. Great product at a great price.
