ieGeek... I swear by this company!
I highly recommend, and absolutely love these ieGeek Security Cameras! Super easy setup, installation, and operation. Just make sure you have a strong wi-fi signal at the location where you plan on installing your cameras. I had to buy a $30 wi-fi extender for one of the cameras I installed on my garage that was just a little out of range. Now I have a whole home security system with no monthly fees. They do offer cloud storage if you prefer to pay a monthly fee, but these cameras take up to 128gb micro SD cards to store the video clips, which is all the storage you need. I have 32gb in mine and I find this to be adequate for my needs. This ZS-GX1S (With Panel) is the latest cam I've added to my arsenal and I am not disappointed. I can pan and tilt for pinpoint accurate adjustments right from the comfort of my couch! 2K image quality is awesome. Night vision is nice and clear, and the lights are super bright. You can adjust the sensitivity of the motion detection, the speaker volume, light brightness, and the length of the video recordings. They all have two-way talk, and also a siren you can sound at will, or set to go off, or not, when the camera is triggered. Everything is done through their app right in the convenience of the palm of your hands. I truly can't find a bad thing to say about these cameras, or this company for that matter! Which brings me to my next point, ieGeek's stellar Customer Support! These people genuinely care! When I first had my system up and running, I was having playback issues trying to watch some of my captured videos. I reached out to them and they were really helpful and really concerned that they help resolve my issues. I ended up fixing it pretty easily myself with the wi-fi extender, but they were with me every step of the way. I really appreciated that! So if you are on the fence as I was, let me save you some research time. Purchase these bad boys! You will not regret it. I didn't, I absolutely love these things! For my first purchase, I bought 2 Floodlight Cams (ZS-GX5S), and 2 of their Smart Video Doorbells. After I found how great they all were, I went back for seconds and got 2 Spotlight Cams (ZS-GX3S). Now, for my third, and hopefully final purchase, I bought this one for the area of my property that's not covered by the rest of my cameras, and with it's pan and tilt capability, it gives our family an enhanced sense of confidence and security! Thank you ieGeek!

Exceptional / robust camera for the price
Having been extremely pleased with the smaller static ieGeek outdoor security camera for monitoring outdoor buildings with animals, I looked to ieGeek again for a larger option to be used a security camera as part of a house renovation project. I purchased the ieGeek 360° Wireless Outdoor PTZ Security Camera, 15000mAh Rechargeable Battery CCTV Camera with Pan 355° Tilt 120°, 1080P Wifi Home IP Camera, PIR Motion Detection, 2-Way Audio, Cloud&SD Card StorageThe item arrived well packaged as you would expect from ieGeek which contained the main camera, a usb lead, backplate wall mount, plugs and screw, easy turn fixing screws for the camera to be connected to the wall plate and the manual.Setup is via the app and already having the app, it was a case of scanning the product QR code so that it could be connected to the network. Once it recognises the QR code it's really fast to setup but the sequence of turning on and reset button took a few attempts to get going. Its WiFi connection is only 2.4Ghz which although not the highest connection speed provides better range of connectivity. This was much better when connecting outside since there is a great deal of dense and obstructive material to get through and it had no impact of the reaction speed and connectivity performance, more than happy with this. The app includes animated inline help which is extremely useful. For the purposes of testing, I fixed the unit high on my external blockwork (as per picture). This was an extremely useful position and will go back in exactly the same when the house is finished. This product requires a USB power connection to charge the battery initially. I left this plugged in overnight and it was completely charge by the morning (the instructions suggest 10 hours to fully charge). If not using a solar panel, it needs to be installed high enough to be out of vandalism reach but easy enough to access in order to periodically plug in USB lead for charging. Since this is more of a semi-permanent fixing, it's probably best to install near a window in order to get a suitable lead out to it without needing to climb ladders each time. If not, the unit is easily removed using the four easy-turn fixings to take the entire unit down for charging. The backplate itself was very quick and easy to secure to the wall. I use a solar panel for my smaller camera which is great using the robust and ‘free’ solar panel from ieGeek (superb, compact and… free).General SD mode is very good but HD mode is better (as you would expect) although has more battery drain. I haven’t been using the camera long enough to determine this exactly. The night vision is superb as is the triggering which can be set up for defined intervals as required. The remote movement functionality is very reactivate and precise and the movement is extremely quiet. The speaker and microphone are also very useful and can be heard at a decent range from the house if need be.I haven’t used the product long enough to comment on battery life but if it’s supposed to be an improvement on the smaller model, then I am very confident that I won’t be charging up too often.I have recorded video for playback on both SD and Cloud service which works extremely well. The only comment I have on the cloud service is that you have to dig to find more information on costing and would be better to include such information in an FAQ.I’m otherwise extremely happy with this product and will be purchasing another for the front of my house.

Best definition yet
Tried to buy this in Canada but it was not available on Amazon Canada yet. I have several outdoor cameras which all suffer from grainy picture quality and when I saw this from ieGeek I decided it was time to upgrade. I have had Arlo cameras which are pretty expensive and battery life is not great. With this 5Mp unit from ieGeek I mounted on the upper edge of my corner lot which has the front facing south.I decided to fully charge it before I mounted it and have tried to take advantage of the 360 sweep to try and pick up any activity I can. It was an easy install but I had to move one of my mesh extenders to get a stronger wi-fi signal because this camera works best at 80% or better for signal strength. It is great that they include a basic 7 day cloud storage even though I went ahead and bought a 123GB storage card anyway.I think I will let my Arlo subscription and Blink subscription expire and just pay the $49.99 year to activate all the AI features which includes car, pet. and package idI just got this so it will be interesting how the camera handles Calgary's cold winters but with the south sun beating down on the solar panel I am hoping that battery life will carry me through. The unit is pretty solid and they do include hardware for mountingI am very happy with the picture quality and I feel that my house is better protected now with this newer technology

Finally A Winner
UpdateStill liking the camera. Unfortunately, wireless security cameras have become addictive. Now have 4 of these cameras. More or less have every corner covered. Still learning so far cameras are very acceptable and doing a good jobNew to the arena of security cameras. Over the past few years have found reviews confusing thus no confidence in security cameras unless hardwired. Recently encountered a PTZ camera with high ratings so took the plunge. It was a learning curve to get set up and overall not real happy. Tried to contact support to deal with some issues to no avail. Went back to review ratings to find out that most of the high rating applied to something other than the camera. Not sure if that was an accident or intentional so decided to return. That got supports attention. However support was not able to rectify issues. More research and made another selection to find that the camera arrived damaged but did not know that until many attempts to set up. Return. More research and took a flyer on 2 ieGeek cameras on sale. Once I got by the need to fully charge before attempting setup, setup was easy. Impressed with both daytimes and nighttime picture as well as pan tilt abilities. Thus, this particular camera is the third one and likely will go with a fourth. Unfortunately, wireless cameras have become addictive. Notice of activity is on the slow side. Is that camera or internet? Not sure but livable. I struggle with the camera only available at any given time on one device. My main monitor is PC. Move to android and PC shuts down. There is a sharing device tutorial but was not able to make that work. From my perspective it would be good to be able to monitor at same time from different devices. At present time the 2 cameras are setup in a quad configuration. So have 2 available and room for 2 more. Good for overall monitoring however if want to focus in on a specific camera for more detail the other one is gone. Then have to go back to set up quad view. Thís is not the handiest. However, at end of day better than previous experiences.
