I had high hopes for this tile cutter. I messed around with it for a few to get the hang of it and on my first longer cut (18”), it didn’t cut straight. Turns out, it’s not square. I tried loosening and then retightening the screws that hold the two arms together to no avail. I bought this to make long cuts on 4’ tile. I’m so disappointed. I’m sending it back but I’m so bummed at the time this has cost me.

It took me two or three tries to cut 4-ft tile with out breaking it for what it is I'll give it four to five stars

This is a unit for homeowner or handyman that requires a tile/glass cutter for medium or larger tiles. Construction is robust and the cutter head while plastic holds both the tile and glass cutter heads. The glass cutter is held in rather poorly but likely enough to score the glass for cutting. The tile cutter is well controlled in the housing. A higher priced model appears to have a separate orange glass cutter holder while this version relies on removing a portion of the orange tile cutter head and using a smaller diameter screw to affix tool albeit not too securely. The pressure tool used to snap tile or glass is heavy duty and does the job easily. Additional cutter heads and breaker tool jaws are included. Instructions for assembly are poor but the seller has posted a revised much improved version. In any event view the video on Amazon for best results as usage instructions are shown only by images. My true rating is 4.5 stars which is due to mediocre glass cutter retainer and lack of better use instructions.

I am using this to cut tile for mosaics.It cuts the tiles nicely but what I like best is the handheld Snapper tool.It snaps the scored tiles easily even with my small hands.I would pay the price for just the handheld unit without the scorer.I am happy with my purchase, and I would buy it again.5 STARS

I purchased this to make lengthwise cuts on my 60” ceramic tile. The instructions were useless and did nothing to explain what each of the blades was for. It was also impossible to tell which side of the long rail to mount the “T” to. I scored a piece of tile several times and used the included hand press to split the tile. It shattered into several pieces.
