Maybe piece of mind more than effective, time will tell
I've now used slime in two offroad motorcycles for green laning. It is super easy to install, takes 15 minutes tops to do both wheels. I've then done a few trail rides over some pretty demanding terrain and haven't had a puncture but that is not a definitive test as to how effective it is. Anecdotally on a recent trail ride another member of the group got a pinch flat from some sharp rocks and did have slime in his tubes. Still lost pressure. Obviously not going to save you from every flat but I think it's worth doing because if it does what it says you should at least reduce the occurrence of a full on flat tyre.

Bosh!
It's very effective but you need plenty. There's like a ratio depending on tyres. Man runs bare gravel setup ATM 37's. You need to use basically a whole bot bot in each tube. If man's rocking a road set up half will do but just. You need like two thirds really, get me? It will add bare grams to your wieght. You may loose a couple a watts, but you will save time over these puncture Donnie's at the road side. And at the end of the day don't ask for an easier time, ask to be a better cyclist.

It works!
I purchased this to install in my new bike tyres and paid half the price of other online stores and high street retailers. I have previous experience of Slime with mixed results. It is very important to check the consistency of the fluid before trying to install it. If it looks fluid like and sloshes around the bottle then it is easy to install but if it’s thick and the bottle is hard to squeeze, forget it! I have purchased 4 bottles of Slime on a previos occasion, not from Amazon, and the consistency of the contents was different in all 4 bottles. I returned 3 bottles to the store because I couldn’t get it out of the bottle which they checked exchanged.Although Slime will prevent a flat tyre in most circumstances re inflation of the tyre will be required so a pump should always be carried.

It seems to work, but...
It seems to work, but don't forget that there is no free lunch: just because you're using this, it doesn't mean you won't get a flat.I've put slime in one of my bikes more than one year ago. Meanwhile I think I've put around 2000 km on it. Since I've installed the slime sealant to prevent flats, it's hard to get the notion of whether it is working or not, because you don't actually see the flat (unless you take of the tube and look for already sealed punctures, which I didn't).My front tyre is still running with slime on it, and I had not a single flat since I've installed it. My rear tyre got a puncture after 800 km where the sealant didn't work out. The puncture had a diameter between 1 and 2 mm. The bad thing is, that puncture would be repairable with a traditional repair kit, but because slime was always getting out of it, I couldn't get to repair it, the glue wouldn't properly attach to the tube... perhaps it was my fault, but I tried 3 times with no avail. I replaced the tube and since then I had no flats either. So it is hard to say if it really works, but I believe it does, at least for small punctures. Just for the record, these tires are 26" Continental Sport Contact. It is really easy to install, just follow the supplied instructions, you have there everything you need.Important: when pumping your tires, don't forget to turn the wheel so the valve is on the top side of it. That will prevent the sealant to come out and get stuck (dry) in your valve. I had to replace the inside of a valve (schrader) because I forgot about this...

I Got Slimed Ray
Okay!... I knew nothing of this product until a guy at work told me about innertubes with Slime already inside which plug puncture holes instantly. But I had trouble finding the right size tubes for my bike:-(Apollo Phaze, Mountain, 20" frame)- Then I found this on Amazon. Obviously you have to put it in your existing tubes manually. This did worry me somewhat as the tube on the front wheel was only 3 days old at this point (following a puncture in the previous one). However, by following the instructions on the bottle it was a piece of cake. 20 minutes and both tires filled, and that's on my very first attempt. Taking out the valve cores for the first time was scary - (big wuss, I know) - but the plastic tool they give you works great. Straight out, straight back in and job done. Tire re-inflated perfectly and contiues to hold tight. Though I stress, follow the instructions word for word! One bottle provides enough for both tubes. But you have to guage this by eye. Basically half of the stuff in one tube and the rest in the other; and a transparent bottle allows you to observe the dosages easily. Everything you need comes with the bottle so no need for any special tools or anything. But keep a few sheets of paper towels handy for when you detach the plastic hose after filling. That stuff is funky! For the price it's a no brainer. Especially as the money you will save overall for the life of the bike. I only gave 4 stars as I haven't had a puncture to test it out... Or maybe I have who knows, eh?
