So easy to use
This is a great little hand- held ( or stand) scope. Perfect for inspecting small plant parts, identifying insects (spider mites!) etc. The app was easier to set up than I expected. Connected instantly, providing a clear, bright image on my cell phone. Works like a charm. Yay!

Finally, a microscope that works well!
I bought several scopes before settling on this one. This one is easy to focus and doesn't move just by breathing on it. It connects to the app every time without any issues. Takes great pics and videos. I love that it's wireless and comes with a sturdy little stand. Works perfect for viewing trichomes and anything else you may want to view.

Perfect For Viewing Trichomes
Searched for a microscope that connects to an app so I could take pics of the trichomes on my plants. This is the PERFECT microscope for it! Day one I charged it with the included cable and went to my spot to check out my plants. As you can see from the pics, this microscope takes excellent pictures of trichomes. Beautiful close ups with high resolution. The only problem is when you zoom in it gets a little pixelated. But the 1x zoom is perfect for what I needed it for. Stoked!

Only reason
Only reason i give it a 4 is because it takes a steady hand to get the scope right even on the stand. Depending on what you are trying to look at make sure that it’s centered. When you look at it on your phone versus when you take the pic it’s two diff images. You take the pic and it looks blurry but when you go into the photo archive it’s clearer then a sunny day which is confusing because you don’t know if you got a great pic or not until you go look at it. 4-5 for me

Does not work
I ordered this in Nov. 2023. I just opened it because I needed to use it. Out of the box it does not work. I've tried it on two different Mac computers, a desktop and a laptop. On both, with Photo Booth, the microscope produces a split-screen effect on the bottom 25% of the screen (see photo). Sometimes this split-screen is stable, but most of the time it is flashing wildly. I cannot adjust the brightness of the lighting or turn the lighting off. I will reach out to Tomlov Support. But now, I'll have to wait an unknow period of time to continue this project I've been looking forward to for months. VERY disappointed.
