Need to read German
I bought these to use as proximity sensors. They work well in tests, I've not used them in the final installation yet. They come with a link to a website where you can download an excellent clear e-book in English complete with a sample Python program. Unfortunately the website is all in German!! it treats the download as a purchase for £0 so you have to go through the rigmarole of entering name and delivery address, etc in German. I was able to stumble through it based on its similarity to other similar websites and a knowledge of some German. Had the website had an English version I would have given 5 stars.

Hall sensor is ok.
I am using analog output of the sensor and is working for me perfectly.

Is NOT Linear Hall effect Sensor
Parts listed are linear 49E Hall Effect Sensors (HES). Parts I recieved were identical to picture bar the sensor itself had been swapped for 3144 HES which outputs only digital. This does not give a scale output proportional to distance, but acts as a boolean switch.

Serious design flaw - comparator has no hysteresis
Looking at the comparator output on an oscilloscope (red trace in the photo) you can see uncontrolled oscillation when the comparator switches. I suspected the comparator has no hysteresis whatsoever. This is essential to prevent oscillation.I have tracked down the schematic and it confirmed my suspicion. The oscillation makes the device useless for counting magnet passes such as on a rotating wheel, because one rotation would be counted as hundreds. It is therefore unsuitable for any application other than simply detecting magnet proximity in a crude way.In response to another reviewer’s complaint, the supplier’s website is in German but if you click on the settings on the top left you can change the language of the website to English.
