I haven't fitted this into our car yet, but on its arrival I am disappointed as there is not slit in the cover for using a seat belt/harness arrangement with a dog. The strap that is attached to the top edge of the seat with a spring clip on it, that is supposed to secure your dog in the car, is quite frankly a joke. My dog would have the seat ripped off its straps in no time if I relied on this to hold him still in the car! There should be a slit in the seat to slip one of those seat belt clip attachments through so that you can then clip the dog's harness to this and make sure he is safe and most importantly, not bounding around the car whilst you are driving. Nowhere does it say clearly what the seat belt mounting method is, just 'new design', which means nothing to me, and the photos are not very good. I will be returning this item as n my opinion its not safe or fit for purpose its sold for.

The half seat cover is brilliant there is enough room for my springador Rosie who is 24kg to lay down or sit up without messing the back seat up , a dog seat belt harness is provided to go through the liner and clip into the seat belt clip and an added bonus of the seat belt going through a loop provided for extra security also there are zips at each corner so if the dog wants to get out in a hurry she can A brilliant idea . And peace of mind she is secure

Fabulous cover for back seat. Keeps car seat clean from muddy paws etc. Safety harness for my two ShihTzu dogs fit snuggly through slits built into the cover. Very good quality and easy to wipe clean as cover is waterproof.

I have a ford focus so expected this product to fit well,and it did.However first time my partner went out with a German shepherd and excitable rotty pup,the back straps broke first,followed quickly by the front headrest straps.it didn't even have my staffy in there!

I bought this cover to protect my car seat from doggy grime and fur after walks on the beach. Found it to be nice and big, waterproof, easy to fit. The dog seatbelt goes through the velcro fastening easily. I have washed it once and it washed up nice as well.As it's a universal cover it may be a big big for some smaller car seats.Overall I'm pleased with it.
