very rich pigment
I found these a good selection of colours for landscape. They are rich in pigment and soft but not brittle. they look good enough to eat.

Great pastels beautiful blending and excellent colour ways, easy to create lovely landscapes I am not a professional painter but enjoy the atmosphere created by these pastels especially on black pastel paper.

I was given this lovely set of Sennelier landscape pastels as a Christmas gift. These are extra soft and heavily pigmented with very little, if anything, in the way of binders, and no clays or fillers: this means you get gorgeous intense colours that blend beautifully.
