nice change to black
Used this for the first time on my log burner, it was a matt black finish, this gives a nice satisfying graphite sheen, like pencil lead, it is a bit messy to use and it does rub off onto things afterwords. If you run your hands over it yuo do get a slight grey on your fingers so have to be careful with lighter clothes etc. But the finish is worth it, seems to highlight teh decoration on the side of the stover, makes it stand out. will use again

My stove looks new again!
I've never bought anything to make my stove look new again before. My parents used to use something called Zebrite on stoves when I was a kid so knew it needed doing. Couldn't find that brand but I have a Stovax stove so this seemed like a good option. The reviews were a bit mixed but went for it. No need to worry. It was really easy to apply (I used an old sock on my hand with a sheet of kitchen roll inside) rubbed a few pea sized blobs on and it came out great. I'd say give the tube a shake before opening. It was quite runny at first which I wasn't expecting but a quick shake made it more consistent. As you can see form my photos, it looks great now. The before photo is a bit more exposed but you can clearly see how much better it looks after a 5 minute make over.

Appears to have worked well on my stove
To cover a small area of bare metal on my yeoman wood burning stove door, and it appears to have worked, but will apply a bit more when I get chance just to seal it completely.

Old cooker hood revival
It was easy to use to revive an old black metal cooker hood, it now looks great, dries quickly and not messy to apply

Did the job
Wanted to clean up the log burner in a house we just bought. This stuff did the job. It's a bit messy to use and comes with a whole list of health warnings on how to use safely which scared me a little. In the end I did use it and it did the job very well the log burner came up really well. Looks much newer and blacker now. There is plenty left in the tube for when it needs ding again.

Ok if you like a pewter finish
I tested an inconspicuous part of my stove with this and I'm so pleased I did. I should have ordered black even though my stove is a dark grey colour. This product is too shiny for my liking. I would have preferred a more matt finish. Some may like the look but it wasn't for me. It was easy to apply though and seemed to only require a small amount.

Results are stunning
Used this on a restoration project - old Victoria fireplace. Good size and ornate - the hard work was really the stripping of 30+ years of paint by previous owners. But afterwards this product made it all worth while. Brought out the details and gave the fireplace an amazing finish! Would definitely use it again. Easy to apply, used soft cloth and small toothbrush in ornate areas. No real smell, and after going over with a clean cloth, no residue.
