great hutch for 2 guinea pigs
great hutch for 2 guinea pigs. lots of room and easy to clean. we use the top as a play area for them and put fleece blankets in it with the toys. the bottem they use as the toilet area and it has the hay and food down the bottem. They are 2 very happy guinea pigs!!!

Probably not suitable for rabbits
As other reviews have mentioned - the wood is quite soft, and very easily chewable beyond recognition by an even remotely determined rabbit. Within one week, mine had utterly annihilated the panel at the front wedging the bars in place, and given any longer, he likely would've had them loose. For this reason, I do not think this cage is fit for purpose for housing rabbits.Guinea pigs may be fine, and perhaps a rabbit abnormally disinclined to gnaw. It is fairly easy to build & feels otherwise sturdy, and perhaps would suit other small animals too.

Great spacious cage (if the animals aren't big chewers)
I got this cage today for my 2 indoor rabbits, one is a dwarf lop and one is a Lionhead, so both smallish breeds. The cage is a perfect size for them, has room for litter tray, bed, hiding logs, large food and water bowls and lots of toys, and they still have enough room to run about inside it.My main concern is that if the rabbits chew it then the wood does seem to be very soft, I would be worried about them breaking it or escaping. I've sprayed anti chew spray (bitter apple) around the parts they can reach inside and I am hoping this deters them, I'm going to have to buy some wooden toys though to try and move their chewing habits to those instead. This cage certainly isn't as strong as a proper outdoor hutch. The bottom ramp to get to the second level can be removed if you're using it for rabbits, mine seemed happy to hop to the platform and just use the top ladder, so this freed up some space. The access is great as it has 4 different doors that you can use to clean or get at your pet. The bottom trays for each level pull out for an easy clean, I lined them with newspaper rather than bedding though as I think the rabbits would kick the bedding out.The hidey hole is nice and I've managed to fit a small dog basket into it and put a blanket in for their bed. The hidey hole is MUCH bigger than it looked on the pictures and I am pleased with that. Though the top of the cage is all bars so I put a newspaper over the hidey hole roof to make it darker inside. The bottom level of the cage is quite dark overall but with the lights on in the room it isn't anything to worry about.Really pleased as its bigger than I thought it would be from the pictures, I am just worrying about the chewing as the wood seems so soft (yet still strong in the overall hutch structure but if I stab my fingernail into the edge of it it makes a dent). The cage was easy to assemble, me and another person did it and it took about 15 minutes.

Waste of money
Dreadful for the money. After only 3 months they have been replaced with C&C. Just not suitable for guinea pigs at all in my opinion. Very dark inside, finish is poor, ramps steep and with very rough surface, doors tiny.

Too small
Doesn’t meet the minimum size requirements for guinea pigs so is entirely unsuitable. Misleading.

Lovely big cage
When i saw the cage I fell in love then when it came...well its wooden so my 2 guineas chew on it which is to be expected and I'm not too bothered about that what I don't like is that mine came in a box that looked like it was someone else's return, the screws for the bolt were put in badly but my dad fixed that and the design had some flaws whilst being built, but me and my brother powered on through and built it fine it's not hard to put up at all but as it was a flat pack you'd expect dowels to be in place where they should be and ready made holes for the screws to fit in not sure if mine was the only one like this but be wary. Other than that it is a great cage it isn't as long as their P@H 120 cage which is great because it takes up less space and I love the two tiers and that you can separate the two areas when cleaning or if one pig needs to be on their own. My chinchillas also love chewing and climbing on the cage when their out of their's! Despite the negatives though I do like the cage a lot and it is more practical.
