Fantastic- it does everything it should do and does it well
A few years ago I bought a very expensive all singing all dancing HP officejet for several hundred pounds. I hated that thing it was a flaming dumpster fire and never worked right once. Every single print job was a new problem. I finally got so mad I threw it out and bought this little Epson. I was skeptical since it was so cheap. I assumed it wouldn't last long or that it would do poor quality printing or that it wouldn't do all the things it said it could do and that I'd just use it as a stop gap until I found another "big fancy printer." I was proven so wrong! This little Epson is GREAT!! The quality of the printing is excellent- nice and crisp, great colors, very good print speed. The flatbed scanner works brilliantly as well. It was super easy to set it up- it did use a phone ap which I thought was a bit weird but I'm old and I guess that is how things are done these days. Even so it was easy to get it all connected to the internet and my home network. I love this printer- I have never been happier with a printer I've owned and that's a lot to say beacuse generally printers just make you mad. This little guy is a champ and my only regret is not buying him first and wasting so much money on that other hunk of junk. Don't coun't the Epson out because it isn't expensive- it does a great job!

Good quality low price option for occasional printing
Pretty good mostly. The front facing control panel is ideal for shelf location. OK to set up and connect to computer. Print quality good. Behaves it's self OK. Build quality above its price range. I'd buy again.

Easy set up and use
It was easy to set up, even for a 70 year old technophobe like me. The Epson app downloaded to my tablet took me through a step by step process to set up and install the printer on my network and get it up and running. The printing is not the fastest compared to my old very expensive huge heavy printer I had before which is now caput. As I only print a few things a month now this is fine for that and as they are typed sheets it will be faster than the colour heavy flower picture I used to try it out.. Its good value and the inks aren't too expensive. The printer itself is light enough for me to easily move it. I did a test print from a photo of the first peony of this year and that turned out fine.

If you don't need colour buy a Laserjet, if you do buy something else
I could not be more disappointed with this Printer. I bought it to replace an ageing Epson Printer that was always reliable & reasonable to run, but this thing eats print cartridges. The ones supplied ran out in 10 days. I bought a genuine set of refills and have a low ink message after one month of occasional use. It did connect seamlessly to my computer but printing is a chore with lots of whirring and chugging before it prints anything. The screen display is so small and such low resolution its impossible to decipher which button its instructing you to press. It has been a total waste of money and ignore this review at your peril. I would suggest thinking about whether you really need a colour printer. If not buy a mono laserjet. Scan or copy function on this is redundant anyway now smart phones can quickly and easily scan documents into PDF files. So with hindsight I dont need the majority of this printers basic functions and very much regret buying it.

Ideal for home use and easy to set up.
I purchased this printer to replace my original Epson which I had for seventeen years. Being of a certain age and also a computer dinosaur I was dreading setting it up but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to connect to my Internet then my phone and then to my laptop. I only required a home printer to print off tickets, emails etc and the print quality is excellent so hoping it will give me years of service as my last Epson did.

Bust Epsom XP3205 Printer purchased 31st Jan 2025
Brilliant till it stopped working 7th Aug. ONLY 6 MONTHS OLD & WITH A SUPPOSED 2 YR WARANTEE. All it stated was FAULT, NEEDS FACTORY ATTENTION. After 3 hour of messing with Amazon's digital maze and realising that NO HUMANS are available for an 81 Yr old customer to explain the PROBLEM TO problem I gave up in despair. Getting No reply to my message that I left after listening to bloody music for god knows how long I went to Argos and replaced the printer. NO MORE BIG ITEMS FROM AMAZON - AT LEAST IN ARGOS I CAN SPEAK TO A REAL LIVE PERSON WHO IS POLITE AND HELPFUL. JUST LIKE SHOPPING USED TO BE !!!!
