This is a lovely item. I use it every day. Somewhat of a novelty, but you also get to know where the planets are in relation to Earth. The colours are lovely and can be used at different speeds. The globe itself is very heavy so be careful not to drop it. A lovely gift and a beautiful planet, night light.

Looks good and arrived quickly.

I couldn’t believe how heavy this was, you certainly wouldn’t want to drop it on your toe which makes me wonder how suitable it would be for children. It could do a lot of damage if dropped or thrown.However for an older child or a desk ornament it’s fabulous. The glass globe is crystal clear apart from the solar system inside. It’s beautifully made and sits on a shaped black wooden base which has led lights in it.It needs to be plugged into either a mains adapter, a power bank or a computer via the included usb lead, you can also use batteries if you prefer.There are various modes to choose from which are selected by the button on the front of the stand.

This is really nice, but having the names of the planets takes away from the experience a bit for me.
