Osmo 3060 1 Litre Door Oil - Clear Satin with FREE Lint free Cloth

Worth every penny
I bought this oil to treat 10 new oak internal doors. I have applied two coats to six doors and still have enough for a couples more doors. The doors look fantastic, this was the first time I have used it. Make sure you have plenty of lint free cloth, all the hard work is in the dirt coat, make sure you cover the door well. The second coat goes on far easier than the firts. Make sure you rub down the doors after every cost to ensure the doors have a nice even finish. A brilliant product and worth all the hard work.

Great product - beautiful finish (with a little care)
I rarely submit a review but was so pleased with the product I felt it deserved the effort.Just had 6 oak veneered doors fitted and decided to oil rather than varnish them. Have used Tung oil on other jobs but this is far superior. The finish is absolutely lovely, a smooth, satin, rich finish that brings our the grain... nice golden hue to the doors. Some advice... take your time, the extra effort is worth it. I applied 3 coats by cloth. First coat used quite a bit of oil but subsequent coats used very little. 1L can did 6 doors (both sides). It took me 60 minutes a door for the first coat the 30 minutes for subsequent coats. Rubbing down is not required by Osmo but I did a very light sand with 600 grit paper (nice finish) and wiped the door with a clean cloth after applying (as recommended). If you don't you can expect shinny spots where the coat is too thick. It's especially had to get the even satin finish in the grooves as oil can get caught... avoid this by the above technique. Can't speak highly enough of this product and the service (answering questions) was first rate too. Thanks Osmo!

Great product
I would recommend this product. I had 7 doors to treat, they all look great after a couple of coats of this oil. Just make sure the door are clean and mark free before starting. I removed any marks in my oak panel doors with 240 grit sandpaper.

Osmo door oil
This is good stuff, goes on easily, I used a cloth rather than a brush and soaks in evenly. It is expensive but it was recommended by my carpenter and he uses it all the time.

Easy to apply, good finish
I bought the Osmo clear satin to to apply to 9 oak veneer doors, I applied the oil with a brush then after 48 hours I rubbed them all down with 120 grit sanding paper and applied a second coat. The finish is excellent with the wood grain now prominent, happy that I still had a bit of oil left after two coats to nine doors.

A bit expensive but perfect fo the job.
On the advise of the door manufacture I bought this to finish of the edges of some pre-finished oak doors, following fitting. Its easy to apply, with a suitable cloth, and gives a perfect match to the colour of the finished doors. A bit on the expensive side, but the results probable justify the expense. I cannot comment on the durability, due to the limited time since application.
