Keyless Entry Case

The switches supplied were smaller than OEM, but worked. Now the unlock button works again and the case fit perfectly around the 2008 9-3 PCBA. Good deal!

Doesn't snap together flush, key falls out, the actual physical dimensions of the key fob are too long so it doesn't allow the ignition to grab and hold the fob and unlock the cylinder. You can use the front side with the back and sometimes have to jiggle the fob in the ignition to unlock the cylinders, but who wants that janky garbage? Do not recommend. Not worth your $17.

I saw that this had gotten some reviews saying the electronics don't fit, or it falls apart, or the key retainer is poorly made. The fob is great quality, matching oem spec, the electronics fit great and the replacement buttons were super easy to solder on! (My old buttons fell off). The rubberized part is just like oem and feels great. Its black of course, and matches the old one! This is an inexpensive, great working product that matches OEM specs in my book.

Good enough

This little Saab 9-3/9-5 key fob replacement shell is exactly what I needed, and BONUS, it came with 4 replacement microswitches and a key fob battery! I only needed the shell, my original Saab shell was crap rubber-plastic that basically melted in normal use, a gummy-sticky mess... but the electronics inside were good except one of the microswitches came loose. Since I had a good circuit board, I opted to just replace the shell for $14 rather than the entire key-fob with electronics for $70... and this replacement actually came with unlooked for but very appreciated replacement micro-switches. Caveat, you'll need a steady hand and a fine soldering iron to replace the microswitches, but it is pretty easy to do. No need to re-pair the new electronics to your car as the old circuit board is still in use. Thrilled with the new fob shell!
