Salon System Just Wax Portable Roller Wax Kit

I'm so happy with this wax kit! really good quality for the price and works really well. The kit comes with 2 wax cartridges, a wax roller with UK plug, a thick pack of paper waxing strips and a bottle of roller cleaner. Really easy to use and perfect to pack for travelling and have a salon system on the go.The wax rolls on perfectly, heats at perfect temperature. I left it plugged in as I used it, keeps the wax heated and easy to roll out. I would recommend getting a separate after wax cleaner to remove wax residue. The paper strips are of good quality, gets all the wax off of the legs. I did both full legs and bikini area with 3/4 of a cartridge, used quite a lot of strips. Took me about an hour and 20 minutes.For optimal results roll on the wax in the direction of the hair growth, place the strip and slide your hand over the strip a couple of times until it's firmly sticking to the wax and then pull from the opposite direction of the hair growth. Never take break between applying the wax on your skin and placing the strip as the wax gets cold and won't come off.A friend of mine is a beautician and recommended the clean&easy 12 piece waxing kit and it cost me around £160, I regretted it instantly after the first use. Very extremely messy as there were no cartridge holders and I ended up holding the hot wax cartridge in my hand so I burned my fingers and wax was all over the place. This kit is so much simpler and so much easier to use and maintain and the price is amazing! I have quite thick dark hair and had it growing out for a month, my legs are smooth and hair free now! Don't think, if you really want a waxing kit, this is the one.

Absolutely perfect. The wax is very smooth to handle and does not get very tacky. The roller head cleaner is a bonus and does the job very well and makes using the roller head for the next time a lot more easier.Update:After using the product a few times, I have to say that it is the best roller head waxing system I have ever used. I have been waxing at home for many years now and tried many products before this. I used to live in USA, used many different waxes and wax heaters, but never come across such a brilliant product. Was really amazed to find out that I could wax my full arms and full legs by using only half the cartridge making it very cost effective. And mind you I have really thick hair and have faster hair growth. The key is to make sure that the wax gets hot enough, it takes time but I plan ahead. I take a shower before I wax to open up the pores and remove any oil residue (which hinders the wax from adhering to the skin) and start the heater before I go. Once applied the wax comes off easily and rarely have to reapply in the same area as it removes hair pretty efficiently. Make sure to keep some baby powder handy in case it gets a little sticky during the process. Just use it liberally in your hands, you wont feel the wax in your hands anymore. Its a cool trick. Once I am done, I use baby oil to massage my arms and legs which effectively removes any leftover wax and then wipe off with a hot towel. Waxing at home is never easy and takes time to get the hang of it but I believe I have finally found a machine and wax that fits my requirements perfectly.

This is the best wax system ever! I'm an experienced DIY waxer & use salons too. The system does leave you with sticky legs, but so do salons! My advice is to have a bottle of surgical spirit & kitchen roll ready to keep yours hands clean & wipe your leg down after. Surgical spirit may sting if you're new to waxing. Test first. It's definitely the best thing to remove stickyness. It took me 45mins to do both 3/4 legs, 12 strips & hardly any wax. I reckon one cartridge would do 6 pairs of legs. You can re-use the strips 3-4 times & the wax is so sticky you don't need to keep applying more, just use the same hairy wax on the strip! To get your technique right I would recommend going to a salon that uses rollers, watch how they do it - it will really help you to be efficient with the wax & strips. 'They' use the same strip lots of times. I kept my unit plugged in which wasn't too annoying (with a foot on the kitchen work top LOL). Takes about 45mins to heat up. No spills, no drips, no spatulas, no risk of dogs or kids getting burnt, just perfect legs LOL!Only thing I would say to manufacturers is to make the base of the unit a bit wider. Every time I put it down it fell over! Otherwise totally amazing. I'll never waste my money on a salon again.

Bought this i was fed up of spending out on salon waxing so thought id look into purchasing something for home use.I did trawl amazon to find a product with good reviews and settled on this itemproduct seems substantial, well made, doesnt feel cheap.handheld unit does get hot and i found i got best results when i kept it plugged in when using.this does mean its bit more tricky as the lead isnt very long, extension lead will fix that problem.Doesnt seem overly successful on shorter hair.I did 2 half leg waxes and it took some time to get the knack of it.backs of legs obviously far more difficult to get done well than front of legs.Legs did stay red for 24 hrs even after applying pure aloe but that wasnt something that would prevent me using it again.Pain factor was no different than the salon infact it didnt seem as bad.application of wax was simple although i used 2-3 layers to get a decent coverage, 1 layer just didnt seem enoughbut this will probably mean i need to reorder more wax more often than suggestedpaper worked well although havent used material strips but i did find i used quite alot of them but that might improve with practise.I think this is a really good piece of kit and well worth trying as its certainly cheaper than repeat salon visits.Give it a go
