Thanks for your question. The Carbon Fiber Fountain Pen with a German Schmidt fine nip is 5" and 3/8" long when cap is on or close. The shinny metal cap can be placed on the back of the pen for writing. Then, the fountain pen measure 6" and 1/8" long.

Can the nib be changed?

ZenZoi Carbon Fiber Fountain Pens are offered in Medium Nib and Fine Nib. The Nib can be changed between these two executive pens. In order to avoid issues with feedings, we don't recommend changing with another brand pens.

What is the calligraphy enhancement?

It is simply a matter of how the point/tip of the pen is shaped.
