I have a Newfoundland who loves this bed. We finally found a bed big enough for her to truly sleep in! I love the brown color it matches our living room great. I did not notice a smell and our dog went right to it without hesitation. She sleeps on it every night! Highly recommend

I am sure this is great. It seems well made and soft, thick and a nice size for the money. However, my dog won’t sleep in it. He does use it as a pillow though. I would sleep in it if I were him. I don’t understand.

I ordered this bed for my dog because she was going to have surgery, followed by two weeks of confinement and minimal activity, so I wanted her to be as comfortable as possible. The bed is quite a bit larger than she needs, but that was deliberate. This is a third-party purchase, so delivery was a little slower, but that was okay. The first bed came (yes, I had to have a replacement) and the zipper on the bolster came apart immediately and was not fixable. I returned the bed (in a large plastic bag because there is NO WAY that bed will go back into the box it comes in) very easily and a replacement was sent out immediately. The second bed had (has) a much more substantial zipper, unlike the first one and everything went together very easily. [I laughed at the review with the complaint that it comes with no instructions (true) and that it took the reviewer two hours to put it together (have you put a cover on a pillow before?)] My dog had an post-op accident on the bed. It was very easy to remove the cover and the waterproof liner from the memory foam and wash everything and reassemble. No instructions necessary. Great bed. I would recommend it.

My dog loved this bed! It's so soft, easy to put together, the material is fantastic! It's easy to take apart and wash. It has great support and is very durable.

Do not get this. Does not look like photo because it is so cheaply made, both construction and cover material. Came in pieces, and once you assemble it, the bolsters are uneven and floppy. I estimate the cover material will not last more than a few weeks. So far, dog refuses to lie on it.
