Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 8,Black

This speaker is amazing, especially for it’s size. Don’t get me wrong, this is not very portable relative to smaller speakers, but you can easily move it from room to room. Really easy to set up via Bluetooth. Build quality is exceptional. Overall sound is deep, rich, and expansive. The only thing missing here is even just a basic three band parametric EQ. The mid range is a little quiet for my taste. But overall, it sounds amazing, and I wouldn’t hesitate buying another one for a stereo pair.

Great quality speaker as expected. Big fan of these onyx studio .the only thing is the battery dies fairly fast so I just keep it plugged in all the time .Besides that the bass is loud and deep and sound is crisp clear,also works great as surround sound for movies and t.v.

Oh wow! I prefer exceptional sound. In high school in the '60s, I worked very hard to purchase a Harman Kardon Teak Turntable along with two of their Teak Speakers. I had tested the sound coming from numerous stereo systems and found the Harman Kardon system to be very pure. Throughout the years, that system found its way to other homes. Lately I have Bose systems at home with which I stream my music and have their sound bar for my tv. The sound quality is a bit muffled no matter how I adjust it. I had an epiphany and wondered if I could find any Harman Kardon speakers to replace them. I went directly to the Harman Kardon website and was a bit discouraged to find that they no longer offer the big speakers and turntables of yore, however, I discovered this Onyx Studio 8 speaker. The price was a bit much which prompted me to peruse the offerings on Amazon. As it turned out, I opted for the Amazon pricing. This speaker is futuristic and unusual looking. It resembles a piece of sculpture. And as I had hoped, the sound quality coming from it is far superior to other speaker systems I have. Crisp, pure incredible sound coming from this device makes it seem like you are in the exact same room as the musicians performing the music. I couldn't be happier returning to Harman Kardon sound quality.

Very versatile bluetooth speaker system that works very well with wireless mike and produces high quality sound on playback from phone, thumbdrive or TV. Just the kind of wireless speaker that I was looking for.

This speaker is aesthetically beautiful and so interesting to people who have never seen it before.So for.looks an A plus.Sound quality is really good/excellent especially up to like 75% of the volume. Beyond that and I think it loses some of the clarity of the bass. But I am really nitpicking here. The automatic calibration to the space you place it in is a wonderful feature and does work.I wish there was an app with equalizer controls just to have the option to tinker but this speaker will be a standout wherever you carry it.Get it!

The media could not be loaded. I saw this speaker at T-Mobile and we loved the sound quality of the speaker but they were selling it for $400 so I checked Amazon and Best Buy and it was cheaper on amazon and I got it for about $125 which was a great price for the quality of the speaker. I have the same sounds system Harman/kardon in my car and I was obsessed with the bass so I had to get a speaker just like it!

The media could not be loaded. I bought my first Onyx 8 speaker here on Amazon thinking it was just gonna disappoint me. But on the other hand I fell in love with it. As am typing now I have already ordered my 3rd speaker and I connect them on party mode. I really enjoy the sound that comes with it.I just realized when you play with your onyx 8 connected on the power source the base and the sound becomes even more stronger.Can't tell you nothing but to advise you to try for yourself.
