Nite Ize S-Biner Size 1 Durable Carabiner

These are exactly what I was looking for! I have a rucksack that has a large pouch on the outside that when I walk bounces up and down and more than anything it just irritates me! So I wanted some clips that I could fasten to the pouch and the bag to stop this happening. I also wanted them so if I ever needed to hook anything to the bag to carry then I could use these. They are made of stainless steel and are painted black so they will last a long time and are rustproof. They have a weight limit of 5lb (2.27kg) and defiantly feel like they hold that weight. If there was one thing I was surprised about it was the size! I thought they were going to be bigger which is why I've included pics with size reference. They do have bigger ones if you require. Overall though I'm very happy with them and would definitely recommend them.

This is a Size1 (entry level) and it is perfect for the job of attaching a GPS location tracker to a dog or to an item of luggage. I was considering using more than 1 but because the lock is so easy to open and shut as well as secure, I will simply transfer the device back & forth. It is extremely light but strong and the steel version is much slimmer than the aluminium one which would struggle to fit the very small aperture in this device. Very pleased and I can use it with my backpack and sling a small speaker, a flask, and headphones when out walking. This looks like a 'forever product' which is what I was searching for.

Great little clips. Have recently swapped them out for the locking version as they were losing keys and attachments whilst in my pocket. When not carrying them in a pocket or similar and using them for something external only I can't fault them.

Really like this make and the fact they hold a certain weight, have quite a few and buy for gifts which they genuinely like to receive. I do a lot of gifting of useful or survival things.

They are quite small and fiddly to get off so possibly meant my bag was safe from people looking inside to see if there was anything worth stealing. Also good for the plane.

The final straw came today when I found my car key on the grass when returning to my car. I didn't even know it had dropped of my s-biner. This is about the forth time this year that my car key has worked its way out, either in my pocket or when moving the keys from place to place. I know now that I shouldn't have trusted the s-biner (size 1) with my keys and I'm currently in the process of getting a more suitable clip which is going to cost me roughly twice as much but will hopefully be at least twice as secure. They are handy little things just don't trust them with your keys!

They feel solid enough for the little things you may want to attach to something. For instance, I bought these to clip onto the Samsung smart tags I have for our suitcases. No worries about if the suitcases were to go missing. Find them in an instant with those smart tags. I then clip the other end to the strap in the suitcase. BUT remember, at this size, these S-biners are not meant to hold much weight or stress. A few pounds at most, so lower your expectations if you want to hang something heavy with them.

Bought these after seeing Dave Canterbury use them to set a ridge line up for a tarp, I had to check out the idea and these worked well. Strong for their size, fast delivery.

Even though are a small size they work adequately for the purpose they were purchased.
