Quick fix for your cat's eye infection
When one day my cat woke up with one eye sealed shut, I thought she got into a fight with another cat the night before and had her eye injured. I decided to give it another day or two to heal. Two days passed and the eye did not get any better. Plus, I noticed some [...] fluid coming out of her eye that was causing her eye to close. Being really concerned, I hit the internet in search of causes of eye infection and solutions to it and found the PetAlive Eye-Heal.I favored the PetAlive Eye-Heal because it sounded like a product I could easily use on my cat. My cat can be very fussy sometimes, and she is highly sensitive to smelly medications and edible drugs in form of a pill. I figured, applying a little bit of the solution to a cotton pad and wiping my cat's eye clean would not be too challenging. And I was right. Although my cat could smell the product and immediately sense the hint of medication coming her way, she did allow me to put it on her eye twice a day. And she resisted me less in the next rounds of treatment as she realized that this made her eye feel better. In about two days, I could immediately see the benefits of the solution. And, in about a week, she was almost completely healed. My recommendation to potential buyers is, to keep in mind that this is just a natural healing medicine. That is, it is not Rx nor known by vets (and the product recommends you seek a vet if there is no progress or condition worsens). Until you have time to take your cat to a vet, this product is a great cleanser and quick fix for your cat's eye infection (My vet told me to continue to use it if it is helping; it would not hurt). I would suggest that you apply it on both eyes even though only one eye may be infected, because infection in one eye can easily spread to the other good eye at a time when your cat's immunity is low. It would not hurt to apply to your other healthy cats living under the same roof. If your cat heals, you save a trip to the vet and the medication is reasonably cheap (Amazon.com is the best price so far).

Awesome Product!
I had to write a review about this product, and going to keep it short and simple. IT WORKS. My dog's eye all of the sudden became redish, swollen and I was going to result to taking her to the Vet if this product didn't work, this one the last result after trying some other methods with Saline solution that didn't work for crap and also putting Cod Liver Oil in the eye because it has some healing properties, but still that didn't work, but she sure did smell like fish when it was bed time, lol.Once I got this product, I immediately used it on her eyes and after just 1 day the mucus that was coming out of her eyes was way less, the the day before without this product. The second day, almost all gone and her eyes was much controllable during sleep time. After 1 week of the product, the swelling of her eyes was diminishing. I was like, yay! No Vet visit and money stays in the pocket. After 1 week, the bottle was gone and ordered another one just to keep it and make sure the swelling goes away. She is doing much better and is now her self. I am so happy that I don't have to take a trip to the Vet's office. I am all about trying different things but to an extent, if within 1 week or so it doesn't get better, to the Vet we go. I am also giving her Spirulina, which is extremely good for allergies, which is what she has. She's been on Spirulina for about 2 week with today. Nuts.com has the Spirulina and you only need 1/8 of a tsp a day with food. I know this is not the only reason why she is getting better, but the Spiraling also has a major part as with allergies dogs or cats have to be on medication and my dog is not on any type of medication, as I said before, yay! No Vet visits, and no medications.I take Spirulina my self for health.

Worked at first
It worked well when I bought it in June, but I’m not sure about the shelf life of this product. It’s now september and the infection returned. The bottle is almost gone and I tried it again, and it doesn’t seem to work. I even came home from my lunch breaks at work to put it on my cats eyes more frequently and it doesn’t seem to provide relief. I ended up having to order ointment instead.

Good Product & Works!
I was a bit skeptical about making this purchase at first, especially as it was for our pet and wanted to make sure it was safe. One day we arrived home to find our pet dog with an inflated red eyeball, it looked quite painful for him, so we rushed him to the vet for a diagnosis. They said he was diagnosed with glaucoma and cataracts and pressure on right eye was causing the redness and the swelling. The vet suggested we use some eye drops, but there were no guarantees and next option was to surgically remove his right eye, which we agreed not to do. We went ahead and purchased the eye drops, which was around $115 per small vile, which was ridiculous, but being that we love our pet, we went ahead and made the purchase. We tried this treatment for about 2 weeks, which my dog hated by the way, but no improvements seen. My wife and I decided to try alternatives, so we hit to the internet and started reviewing products that may help, which is where we came across the Pet Alive Eye-Heal, it has helped tremendously! I used that along with the nuvet pet lab vitamins and the bilberry extract. Even though his eyesight on that eye is not restored and still cloudy, the swelling has dropped significantly and he looks much happier. At this point, I'm glad it's not getting any worse. This product is easy to administer and my dog doesn't mind the 2 x a day eye cleansing.

It helps but doesn't get rid of the problem.
My persian cat has conjunctivitis. We use antibiotics but the vet suggested it be used for only a length of time. After using the antibiotics for 10 days it goes away but then comes back and we have to start the treatment again. I'm not a believer of constantly using pharmaceutical drugs on pets especially when it's made for humans. So I thought I would try this herbal remedy. It's good but the problem hasn't gone away. I clean her eye out with the solution (less water to get a stronger solution) and it seems to reduce the watery eye and swelling but only temporarily. At least this is safer to use.

It worked
My cat had some eye problems with some discharge and shrinking of the sclera. Applied this two-three times a day for a week or so and looks like it did the job.

Disappointed!
I purchased this after I read a review stating how good it was. Firstly, the seal was broke on its arrival??? but I did not waste time in using it. My dog always has weeping eyes and I wanted to get started immediately. I followed the instructions and after a few days of using it there was no improvement. I think using used cold tea-bags are better!
