Wasn’t expecting this mason jar to be as good as it was. Thought it would be like many other mason jars just ordinary. However i was so very wrong. It has every liquid measurement you would want on the sides. It is made of very good quality thick glass, but not too heavy you couldn’t lift it. The lid is made of plastic but that is ok as you only need it for pouring out the liquid. The lid is made of good quality and can be a little hard to open at times but it locks well and so it gives you confidence that nothing will spill out if you need to shake it. I was using plastic containers for my milk but have changed over to these as some plastics can give off particles in your liquids and they were harder to clean. These mason jar pitchers i would highly recommend for quality, easy clean ability and great value for money. They are so good i have just ordered some more for water and soft drinks. Cant rate them highly enough.

Added recently boiled water from kettle to rinse out and was able to add still hot liquid (steeped tea in Pyrex and transferred to jug) to check the accuracy of measurement in ml and it was same). The jug lid and handle seem ok, the spout and latch seem more finicky so will probably be handwashing.

Great for storing breastmilk and easy to clean. Lyd is very good quality so no risk of leaks.

Jug is of good quality overall. The only things wrong are that the handle is a bit awkward for large hands and it seems a bit on the weak side. It hasn't broken yet so all good. Good thing is it doesn't leak at all. I wouldn't risk pouring boiling water into it as it may crack unlike Pyrex.
