Brilliant but frustrating.
I adore this item. It’s easy to use but also annoying. I fill the chamber with hot water and I extract the coffee. But I like to use the same pod and refill for another batch (lungo)…this take a very long time to extract. You’re not supposed to do this but I like to get my moneys worth out of a pod.Otherwise it’s a brilliant machine. Love the flexibility of it. Very easy to clean. If you use plastic pods it’s more challenging to extract. Metal pods are better.

Good coffee
Do the job well, the expresso taste better than a full size machine. Not so easy to do but it is what it is a portable nespresso maker. For tracel is nice.

stopped working
Seemed fairly sturdy and well made enough. Used it maybe 10 times. Now it doesn't work at all. Quite expensive for 10 cups of coffee.

Life changing for travlling coffee addicts!
I'd heard about these from friends - that they were great, though not perfect. After a recent trip to Italy - yes ITALY - where there was absolutely no decent coffee in the hotel and none within reasonable walking distance (only an INSTANT machine in a 4* hotel!!!!) that was the final straw and I thought I would give this new model of this device a go. I must say - it's genuinely life changing! Much as I'll still hunt out a good coffee shop - when my options are limited (I'm in rural Japan right now) - this is an absolute life saver. (No offense Japan - you have some pretty great coffee here and I'm a bit of a matcha addict too. In fact I carry a tin of that around with me as well where ever I go. ) As for the device itself - it's a lovely item. It's built very well and clearly high quality. It makes an excellent single shot expresso - the tank holds enough to make a double in my opinion - though I've always leaned toward the ristretto so maybe I'm not the person to ask. As per my friends advice - I warm the tank up first with boiling water before refreshing with new hot water and operating the device. The coffee comes out at the perfect temperature with an excellent cremma. I've used Starbucks capsules so far and they fit well with no leakage or issues. (Note - do not judge this device if you use it with poor quality capsules I would say - they often fail and leak in counter top machines so I would assume they would in this. Stick to the better brands!) To improve the experience - next time I travel I will bring a small expresso cup with me as well - though the plastic one supplied is adequate for it's purpose. Anyway - signing off - I'm in need of another expresso fix. Enjoy!

Requires a bit of strength and elbow grease!
This is a great product, and very well made. It feels like a top quality piece of kit for sure, and it does make a great nespresso! However, I bought this for my mum and her partner who travel a lot in their camper van, and they actually couldn't use it as it causes too much strain on their hands. I have used it a few times, I am a young fitness enthusiast, and I also found it to be a lot of work. I definitely shy away from having my usual double espresso because I am exhausted after the first shot.

Small and lightweight
After yet another description of a coffeemaker in a hotel which turned out to be a sachet of instant and a little kettle I decided draw a line. This little machine is very lightweight (no worries about Excess baggage) when compared to the electric versions and works very well. Coffee in a second without any fuss. Wish I had bought this years ago.

Should have got one years ago
I've flirted with the ideas of getting something like or similar to this for several years however have made do with a portable (cup style) cafetiere. The problem with cafetières is that the measurement of coffee is difficult to gauge and - as with all cafetières - they continue to brew resulting in bitter coffee.I've got an all singing and dancing Nespresso machine at home which I sorely miss when working away (each week). Having received vouchers from a mobile phone contract for use on amazon I decided to spend them on the WACACO Minipresso NS2. Delivered, opened and used within 10 minutes this afternoon I cant fathom why I didnt get one earlier. Equally as capable as the Nespresso machine sitting on my kitchen side, easy to use, easier to clean and small enough to throw in my laptop backpack. The WACACO carry case seems disproportionately expensive when compared to the cost of the actual WACACO Minipresso NS2; it does come with a carry bag albeit I'll need something to carry capsules in.Worth a buy
