I had spent hours looking at walking poles and in the end got these ones based on some reviews. I wasn't disappointed. These are very sturdy poles, you could feel the spring working going downhill (steep). Well worth it at a good price!

When you adjust the height I put the top stick adjustment to the second before last mark and then altered the bottom adjustment to suit. This gives the pole excellent strength and it has not let me down.Walked Hadrian's Wall and the pole is so light it made no difference to the arm I was using it in and the grip is excellent in the hand, although I tend to place my thumb on the top bit again very comfortable. I only use one pole when walking but these poles are a bargain, being a set of two so I know I have a spare should something happen to the one I'm using.Really durable and I can't compliment them enough., as they have seen me up the hills and down the rough stone steps also , enabling me to balance myself when descending. These are absolutely fine and good value. I have just come back from three days walking and used them constantly.They could be lighter and the handles are not super comfortable but they are strong and the slight spring in the locking mechanism is a bonus.

I bought these hiking poles so that I can start walking my dog up the steep mountains of the Welsh valleys. These poles extend enough and are sturdy enough for my size and weight (6ft and 16 stone/224lbs/101KG). I used them to test ground before walking on it and to help pull my weight up the mountain and help support my weight when walking down the mountain and they were great. They are light weight as well, so they are not a burden to carry.

These poles were fantastic, I'm not a small person in hight or weight and these did not let me down once and let me tell you with all the snow and ice in Iceland I give these a good workout, they are in perfect shape, they never collapse on me, they are absolutely fantastic, so pleased I had them with me, I would not have been able to do half of what I did without them, I have mobility issues and these helped me see a lot more than I would have without them, would highly recommend these to anyone 10000%I don't normally write a review but I found it so hard picking a pair of sticks because of some bad reviews I had to come on and give my experience with these

Brillant highly recommend

I have a fear of slipping, mud, ice etc and was fed up with that fear stopping me walking so I thought I'd try these. After a boggy soggy trek around Bodmin Moor I can advise that these walking sticks really helped me. They are compact and Foldable but not enough to fit on my small rucksack. I found the hands comfortable and once I got into my stride, they were really easy to use.

Not used it yet. Seems to be well made but whole thing let down by faulty carry case handle (see photo) so I can't carry it when I go out. Very disappointing
