Have had this rotary tool about 2 weeks and it is fantastic. I've used it for multiple tasks and it is very powerful and has plenty of speed for everything I need it to do around the house. I've used it 4 or 5 times after charging only once initially and the battery life indicator (which I also like) shows full. It is easy to hold and works great. I'm going to buy some more for my friends for their birthdays.

Great product. Easy to use charge. Easy to adjust speeds. Balanced. I only wish this had an option of turning in opposite directions.I loved it for a month doing light work. After charging it all lights lit, nothing moved. Very disappointed

Sometimes the motor lags or cuts out but not bad for the price

This product is decently priced for what it does. I use it to grind nails on my large breed dogs. However, this tool is a little bit noisy. My boxer has not been a fan of it. I’m working on trying to find another use for using this thing. It is made of good quality material and craftsmanship, considering it has lasted about a year in my house.

I use this every day for hours to do the detail work in my wood carvings. Always dependable! It's light enough to hold and use all day and powerful enough to be used with all the hard woods.

I'm not a crafter or hobbyist but I use this every couple days. I use it to sharpen mower blades, cut plastics, file dog's nails and a number of other tasks. I have only had to charge it once in months of use.

The media could not be loaded. I use dremels on dog nails for work. This one was not as powerful as the dremel 7.2 volt that I prefer, but they discontinued that model and this was reasonably priced. But it stopped working without cause or notice and definitely didn’t last long enough to justify buying.UPDATE: Phalanx customer service reached out to refund my purchase and get more information about the malfunction. I appreciate the steps they took so I’m bumping the review up to 3 stars. I don’t know if I will try this specific tool again myself but their customer service was great.

The charging port doesn't have a cover on it to keep out dust and derbis from entering the charging port. It uses a regular phone charger to charge the device. I am an electrician can some one explain to me how a 5 volt phone charger is going to charge the 8 volt battery in this device ?🤔
