I like how I can take my time applying and setting parts to exactly how I need and with the UV light it hardens in seconds. Clear see through finish and makes filling in holes or gaps easy but also works great as glue also.

We are always doing art projects, and the others teachers and I talked about maybe doing a resin project sometime. This came up, and I was thrilled to request this. So, you have to remember we are all new at this, but we had such a great time with this and so did the students. It was easy to work with, and we made some simple hanging ornaments with our gardening class (winter but we persevered!). We poured slow so we had very few bubbles, but the ornaments were thin so maybe that was why. It set really quickly using a UV flashlight I have. We will definitely get this again when we need more. Highly recommend.

I do a lot of woodturning and make pens periodically. I also make my own resin pen blanks. My favorite ones involve embedding small pine cones (from a spruce tree) in the resin. The resin won't always seep into every nook and cranny, so I will get small voids here and there on the blank while turning.I use UV resin to quickly fill the voids. I use a flashlight-style UV light if I'm only working on one pen, but if I have a batch, I place them all under a UV nail polish lamp for a few minutes while I work on other pens.Because of the organic material (pine cones) in the pen blanks, I apply 8-10 coats of a CA finish to the completed pens. The UV resin "patch" blends in and can't be found.This UV resin behaves just like others I've used and works well. You can see from the image, the patches cannot be seen, and I can confirm they cannot be felt. This resin doesn't seem to cure as fast as another one I've used, but it is still fairly quick and is a solid product.

After curing for a lot longer than what is on the bottle it was sticky. I then took my badge reels outside to sit in the sun for hours and it was still sticky. I only used to fix in glitter and for doming, no molds used. It has ruined all of the badge reel blanks I paid for. About 130.00 bucks ruined!!

This was my very first experience with UV resin. I used it in a simple rune pattern mold with glitter as a test. Everything came out pretty nice for my first try. The pieces were small and I used a light glitter color so the cure time was about 2 minutes total. The finished pieces are very hard and sturdy, even though they are thin. I had no bubbles at all, but again, the mold I used was shallow and thin. There was barely any smell to the resin when I opened the bottle. I was surprised at how thick it was--poured like molasses. It was easy to stir in the glitter; mixed up nicely and I did not have a bubble issue neither in the mixing cup nor in the mold. I am really happy with this resin and I intend on purchasing more to continue with this new craft hobby. I already have so many ideas for gifts!

I ordered this UV resin specifically for using with fly tying, although it will work for other hobbies such as crafting jewelry. I have not opened the bottle yet but will be filling some smaller dark bottles I have with thin tips on them for easier application to the heads of large flies I tie. When transferring to other dark containers or bottles make sure to do it using minimal light since this stuff will cure under any kind of light especially sunlight and UV curing lights. As long as it is stored in dark colored air tight containers it should stay fresh and not cure, so you don't have to use the whole bottle with a one time application. UV resin is not cheap so this is a great deal for 500 grams of it. I recommend this product to all others needing some UV resin for DIY hobby projects.

I have to be totally honest- this is the first time I've ever worked with any type of resin at all. I have looked into it in the past and it seemed too messy and complicated. I did a little research into UV resin and discovered that this type is a lot easier to use, so I pounced on it.I made my first project this weekend. It was really easy! I used a UV light that I had purchased separately. The cure time was super quick. It was a neat experience, because the resin gets REALLY warm to the touch. My first project was just testing out different layers and how things would look.The resin was REALLY easy to work with, even for this newbie! I just made sure I cleaned up right away and it was very easy to clean up after.Would definitely order this product again!
