Straight swap for original
These only seem to last for 2 years before one or two buttons stop working. However I use it exclusively to operate my Samsung TV. It’s a simple but versatile controller

Works perfectly, including voice
There isn’t many reviews for the remote, so I took a bit of a chance and it came today. Worked instantly on my Samsung smart/curved TV. Took less than 30 seconds to pair and the voice function works perfectly. So far, I would definitely recommend it as a replacement.

I recently purchased the BN59-01266A Voice Remote Control Replacement for Samsung Smart 4K TV and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The remote is very easy to set up and use, and it works perfectly with my Samsung TV. The remote is well built and feels very sturdy in my hands. I would highly recommend this remote to anyone looking for a replacement for their Samsung Smart 4K Ultra TV HD UHD QLED TV. It is a great value for the money and I'm very happy with my purchase.

All functions work (must be paired for voice to work)
Note on voice function. The remote has to be paired and the TV has to be compatible. As far as I know, if you have this type of remote, then it is likely to be compatible. I used this with the following Samsung TVs: UE43RU7400UXXU and UE55NU8000LXXN.There is a mistake on the Amazon description. This remote uses 2x AA batteries (not supplied). The page description currently reads AAA batteries.All functions work perfectly out of the box and no pairing is required unless you need the voice function. Pairing is easy, just power on the TV then press and hold the return/back and play/pause buttons together for 3 seconds. You may have to repeat this if an old remote was previously paired. The Samsung TV will flash up instructions and tell you to repeat the button press when needed.Your old remote will continue to work with the TV, but the voice function will be stopped until you pair it back up.This remote looks almost identical to the Samsung remote, but feels a little bit cheaper. Other than that it is a perfect replacement. I can’t fault it…..well maybe the price I can. This is currently selling for £20 where you can get remotes a lot cheaper than this, but I can’t comment on what the competitors are like.
