Maybe expensive but oh so useful!
This is the second of these gadgets I've purchased from IronKey. I had a software problem with my earlier one, but I always keep a plain-text backup of everything on the key in a directory I encrypt using another product on my desktop and IronKey were totally fantastic in their support. Kudos. I reckoned there were just too many important files I needed around with me :)# which is why I got this 16GB one. I have it in a little leather pouch as part of my keyring. I love the read-only function so I know nothing will get compromised if I download a presentation on a computer I don't know anything about. Yes, it's expensive but for the convenience and security it's worth it for me.I don't use IrornKey's cloud facilities to back my data up but the anonymous Mozilla browser is pretty good and anyway, it's not as if I'm tapping into illegal web sites. I still always back up all my private data in unencrypted mode to a directory on my desktop which is encrypted using a completely different product - never put all your eggs in the same basket.Don't forget that if you're crossing borders customs folk may want to see what you have on it and some countries will confiscate it if you don't oblige.

Very easy to use and secure
Although a bit large in size, every thing else is great!Excellent security for my files whilst on the move. The identity safe is great, stores all user names and passwords and works well with the private Firefox on the device. However, these features only work on a Windows based PC. On my Mac I can only use the secure storage feature.
