does this do well cleaning pet hair out of cars?

I have used it for many tasks,and it has served me well. Though I do not have any pets but I don't see why it wouldn't pick up pet hair.

How is it at shampooing carpets?

lol it is not designed for carpet cleaning.

can this pick up leaves?

I have the small portable model Koblenz but the answer still applies: The hose diameter isn't large enough for leaf gathering, it will clog pretty quick. It might pick up very small items but I would not try it with leaves.
