It is good for the price, for beginners.

Of all the many crafts and hobbies I've taken up over the years. Wood burning is my latest. I really like this starter kit especially because the tips are so universal/standard so I can easily buy additional ones locally at my craft store. It's simple to operate, and I like this style way more than the cheap wood burners I've dabbled with in the past. I can actually make something that looks professional and less like something that someone tried to burn with a cigarette lighter. I like the details and precision I can achieve with the tips that came with it and look forward to improving my skill with time. I would totally recommend this kit for beginners or experienced artists.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a fun little wood burning kit! I’ve never used one before but it’s pretty much ready right out of the box. I was a little nervous to plug it in because the control is loose and wiggly and I wasn’t sure how that would affect it, but I plugged it in and it works fine. There’s definitely a learning curve and I wanted to go faster than I should! When I slowed down the lines were straighter! It comes with several types of nibs and a nice booklet on how to use it! The price is a little high so I would definitely wait for it to go on sale.

Great burner that is easy to use. Decent stand and easy to use knob. I love it as it heats quickly but doesn't get hotter than you want.

Works ok, but the company doesn’t offer very many options for the quick change tips, and they are expensive. I’m going to return.
