Have two bought one recently for my senior parents small shower after mine gets used all the timeIt looks more stylish and is sturdy for seniors to use. Fits nicely in my parents Miami condo.In my home, it is used daily in my bathroom Used by all of my family from six foot male to tall preteen, to me when I wash the dogs in my showerGood out and in shower for standing to reach things or sitting or holding my iPad when I’m the tub:) good level for all usesGets used weekly!!! Had mine for over a year. I do not keep it in wet shower.

I was in a pedestrian hit & run back in April with a broken pelvis, 5 ribs, etc. And standing in the shower was literally something I could not do. Didn't want to get one of those medical supply jank-looking shower seats. This was a perfect solution for my shower! It's a sturdy and bougie spa piece at once. Took about ten, maybe 12 minutes to assemble when I really wasn't at my best. But the construction is easy to figure out, even without the instructions. The feet are sturdy and adjustable, and the bottom extra shelf + the razor holders are excellent touches. It's hard to find anything of this quality under $100. But I did and it saved my ability to shower, wash my hair and shave my pits & legs with a little more dignity than having someone sit in the bathroom with you to make sure you don't fall. When I'm fully recovered (fingers crossed), it can easily be used as a step-stool in the kitchen. Love this thing. Worth every penny. Arrived flat-packed with cam-screws & necessary tools rather quickly. Kudos to Amazon for carrying this shower seat!

Update 31 July:The company reached out and sent me a replacement, as I had to discard the original due to mold. They also provided the following care instructions:1. Wipe with a dry cloth after each use.2. Keep in a well-ventilated area and expose to sunlight regularly.3. Wipe down with bamboo oil periodically.******Be sure to follow these care tips to help prevent issues. I’ll update this review in a few weeks to share whether proper care makes a difference in durability and mold prevention.29 July:I really wanted to love this product because it’s so visually appealing. Unfortunately, after just a week of use, it began developing significant black mold. Despite my efforts, I haven’t been able to remove it. I would like to request a refund for this item.

I was hesitant at first about putting this together and using it since I weighed a bit more than I thought it could hold. But I did put it together myself with no difficulty and let’s say that it held all 256 pounds of me without any difficulty. Now that I’ve lost more than 50 pounds. I’m certain that the bench is quite grateful. And when I lose even more, it’ll probably be singing in my shower

This little stool has been great! It's comfortable, and holds extra product on the bottom shelf. Well made, and easy to put together.

Comfortable, sturdy, and stylish, this item is made of very high quality wood, and the joints fit very snugly. It was easy to put together with the included tool, but I used my power drill / screwdriver to speed things up.The flared leg design ensures even the smaller size model is stable and balanced. It's perfect for my standard size tub and I'm glad I spent a little bit more to get this instead of a less expensive one.I bought this prior to a hip replacement andcouldn't stand for very long in the shower. But now that I've used it I love the idea of sitting down during a shower, Japanese style, and will likely continue using it in the future. I feel like I'm in a spa instead of rushing through my shower routine!CON:The slatted seat does leave some impressions on your rear, but that's temporary and no big deal unless someone is going to see you in the first 5 minutes you get out of the shower.

Very sturdy, holds a good amount of weight, good amount of space for all our shower stuff, and perfect height. The only issue i have is that the section that is supposed to hold the shower head, doesn't actually hold the shower head and its in a weird spot, so its better used to hold loofah, scrubber, etc. It was also easy ti assemble.
