I have a fairly small broom and dustpan and my husband kept stealing it and taking it downstairs. So I decided to buy him one that was taller and it could use on the indoor/outdoor carpet in our basement. He loves it and has quit stealing my little one but now I am tempted to steal his because it is taller. It was a little difficult to get together but once I looked carefully at the instructions I understood where the poles went. I was somehow making it more difficult then it needed to be.

I got this for a couple reasons. To start, it matched my O-Cedar mop set and my shower squeegee. Secondly, I love the teeth on the dustpan. I figure it will help me keep my hair off my floor. The teeth perform decently to pull some hair debris off the bristles, overall I still have to pull quite a bit off by hand. I do have long and thick hair that sheds so this may only be a very niche problem. I would still recommend this broom. The dustpan has a silicone lip that really helps you sweep tons of dust and smaller dirt/grime into dustpan. The mechanism that allows the dustpan to move upright or into floor position is a little firm but I’m sure it gets loosens over time, there is also a notch that will lock it into position to make sweeping up grime easier. Overall a great investment that will improve your life.

This part is cheaply made. I would not refer this to anyone.

Easy to put together,very light weight.works better than a large heavy broom . Plus you have a dustpan and don't have to hold it while you sweep trash on it .
