Good transaction
Works as it should. Insteuctions were missing a step. Had to call customer service. They did help clear up the issue.

it works barely
it is a very poor mounting set up, a U bolt, a rubber strap and some 1/4-20 hardware hold it from spinning........... instructions are not great either and of course when you install it your self you void the warranty so when it comes with an already stretched cable to which it barely lets it operate.... id search for another brand if you can find one, i couldnt find any other so good luck and its apparent now that its installed and the warranty is void i will adventualy have to take it off and fix it, shipping was super quick though

Not really worth the money, but the device does what its supposed to.Pro: Allows the operator to manually shift out of 4wd into 2wd and back againCons: The mounting kit is pretty crappy, it is what you would expect out of a universal part, but when replacing a front driveshaft you would expect a more exact kit. Anyone with a few nuts and bolts laying around can make something better. Able to get it to work with whats in the box. The u bolts are an odd size for my bike (either too small or too big for any possible configuration on 06 rancher) and the strap to hold the device is too short to reach to an area that the u bolts will work.The device is difficult to get out of 4WD into 2wd. I have repositioned the cable with no improvement. Goes into 4wd easily, so I guess that's what matters.The manual actuator is big and very difficult to disassemble in order to route the cable without destroying the device. I feel like this could have been made better since you have to dissasemble it to install.The mounting hole for the allen bolt to hold the device while the vehicle is in motion is tiny and extremely difficult to attach once installed. Recommend making bigger. Did not come with threadlock, recommend getting some before installation.Finally but worst... The instructions were TERRIBLE! the pictures are unusable and the verbiage is not precise enough for unusable pictures. The pictures are multiple time photocopies in black and white that are unrecognizable. The manual said things were not needed to be done on my bike that were needed, and told me I needed to do things that were not needed. It said I did not have to drain the front diff fluid on my bike (06 Rancher 350FM) but when I removed the driveshaft, the diff fluid strated running out and made a huge mess. When I removed the shaft and started switching the boots etc, it said there was a c-Clip on the driveshaft that was not there. I spent an hour looking for it. The install took me 6 hours using the current directions. I could have probably done it in 1 hour with better directions.

From a full time four-wheel drive and now option for two wheel it's like having another bike
Always nervous when you buy something aftermarket but this product actually worked really well with no problems
