Fantastic clippers, rubbish file
Fantastic, but The file is useless so went in the bin, it's not sharp enough to work, however the clippers are very good, as I have a habit of loosing things, I have purchase at least 8 nails clippers all the same style as this. My favourite I have had was a purple rosewood one but I can no longer find this online anywhere so I ordered the orange set from rosewood assuming they would be the same... they wasn't, they was awful and blunt so when I cut her my dogs nails they would splinter and be left jagged. Littrally unusable., I've also spent £19 on clippers before, as I did not want to waste more money, I purchased these as they was inexpensive as far as this style of clippers go, they are fantastic , they are Sharp and solid enough though they apear cheap at first glance, I really wasn't even planning on using them once I got them as they appeared so cheap but upon use they are actually one of the best nail clippers I have used , and my dog has thick large nails.

Decent size or clippers
Ideal size for trimming our Staffies dew claws. Easy to use and work well. Not too sure about the file which is too small to be properly effective, so would suggest an bigger one.

Safe, Comfortable, and Effective Nail Clippers for Pets.
I’ve been using the Candure Dog Nail Clippers for my dogs, and they work wonderfully for large, medium, and small breeds alike. The sharp blades make clean cuts, and the protective guard really helps prevent overcutting, which gives me peace of mind while trimming my pets’ nails. The safety lock is a handy feature for storage and keeps the blades secure when not in use. The clippers feel sturdy and comfortable in hand, with a good grip that makes the trimming process easier and safer.I also appreciate that these clippers are versatile enough for other small pets like cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs, making them a great all-around grooming tool.If you’re looking for a reliable, professional-grade nail clipper that prioritizes safety, this is a fantastic choice.

Work well, happy dog
Work great with good grip. So glad they have a safety guard on them as I get nervous about hurting my dog. My dog was wary at first but not doesn’t mind getting his nails snipped. Boxer dog with thick nails and cuts through them easily.

Handy and sharp, but my cats prefer a bigger clipper
This little nail clipper is surprisingly effective—compact, easy to grip, and chops through nails cleanly with minimal effort. The size makes it especially handy for smaller pets or for travel, and it feels well made for the price. That said, my cats seem to tolerate our larger clipper better—it gives a slightly crisper cut and feels more stable when trimming their thicker nails. So while this one absolutely does the job, it might be better suited for kittens or smaller animals like rabbits or guinea pigs.Still, great value and very useful to have as a backup or for more delicate trimming jobs.

Easy to use
My 1 year old chihuahua didn't bat an eyelid at having his claws clipped. And it's been a while so I expected some resistance, but he was fine.My older boy doesn't normally need clipping but one of his dew claws was quite curled and when I touched it, he panicked because it might have been sore and his pads are really tiny. I put aside my nervousness and planned the position I'd trim the claw from and even though he was slightly stressed, he trusts me and I managed to cut it and then lighten the moment - "it's done!"Give them a fuss after and a chew to relieve any stress. If there are two of you, do it like dog groomers and vets by bending the front paw so the dog can't seeThese trim so well - I had two other sets and these are the best. I just had to be confident and do a swift trim after lining up, I used the guard to help avoid the quick. I have no problem in recommending them.I won't use the file and would like a cheaper option without it because my little dogs don't need a file.
