This is one of my favorite 240 watt usb type c to usb type c cords!!!!!!!
What I love about these 240 watt usb type c to usb type c wires is that it connected to all of my electronics easier than the two that I returned to Amazon. As you can see I’ve added 100 watt magnetic adapters to each end. There’s 140 watts also. When 240 watt magnetic adapters come out and I see them I will replace the 100 watt adapters with the 240 watt adapters. The Performance & Quality are great!!!!!!! I gave them 5 stars only because 5 is the limit. If there were more stars they all would get the Yellow Star!!!!!!!

High quality USB cable
This review is for: DriverGenius UC240-U2 USB-C PD3.1 240W Nylon Braided, 6ft/1.8m Charging CableI ordered two of DriverGenius' cables to try:UC240-U2 1.8m labeled "V2" 240WUC240-40G 1.8m labeled "V3" 240W 40gbitBoth are USB C<>USB C 3.x cables and both claim 240w PD charge power. There's not a lot of detail in the specs. Both have a tight braided cover over the jacket, which looks and feels good, except you can't read the print on the wire jacket itself to know exactly what kind of wire you're getting. The only difference that I can see is that they are labeled either V2 or V3. They seem identical from their look and feel and what performance testing I could do.In charge testing, I discovered that my new 100W PD charger was only a 60w charger, regardless of what cable or device I connected. This means I can only verify 60w. That said, this is a heavy, stiff cable and I'd have to guess the wire gauges are pretty good. How many wires they each have is the question. Cheaper USB C cables often only have 2 lanes (from what I've read). The V3 must have four lanes for 40gbits over thunderbolt 3. The V2 might not be four, and gives no indication of its bandwidth. I used a Thunderbolt3 triple-monitor adapter which at 2x 1920x1200x60 should need about 10gbits, and I saw no video or connectivity issues running that configuration with either cable. Both 1.8m driver genius cables performed identically to the adapter's included 10" USB C cable, which is interesting because supposedly full speed 40gbits isn't guaranteed to work with cables longer than 18".I do wish that they were labeled with something more informative than V2/V3. Is one 2-lane=20gbits, and the other 4-lane=40gbits? Is it just marketing? It would be useful to know that when I set up 10GbE networking over TB3/USB4 and need to be sure of what the cable can do (it requires 2x20gbits) .For now, these are more than enough. I think these are the best cables I can get for what I need in the future.

Defective
This is my second purchase. My first one lasted for a year or so. I ordered the second one for just in case but only realized this second one is defective. It won’t turn on my monitor at all. Since my first one worked perfectly fine, I didn’t think to check the new one until I needed to use it. The looks of two cables look different as well. I cannot even return because it has been more than 30 days of purchase. Check yours immediately upon receiving.

Good cable
Prefacing this review with this: USB4 is still very new tech and is still even going through changes from the USB-IF (the organization that creates the specifications for USB). There are very few USB4 devices, and as far as I'm aware there are both 0 devices that can receive a charge at 240w over USB-C or any chargers that can supply 240w. While you can use (some) USB4 cables with Thunderbolt, compatibility isn't guaranteed, and Thunderbolt can also currently only charge at 100w.With all that out of the way, I can only review this based on current capabilities (100w charging, Thunderbolt transfer speeds, etc.). As new devices come out that allow for testing the full capabilities of this cable, I will update the review accordingly. This is a solid cable. Based on current limitations, I was able to test the charging capabilities at 100w PD (power delivery), transfer speeds at 10Gbps, and was able to run a 1440p 240hz monitor over Thunderbolt with no issue. It's on the thicker side, as is expected of a cable that is rated for high data transfer speeds and higher power delivery, but also has good length. Price is expected for this level of cable. You can find cheaper that are only the 240w PD, or lower transfer rates, but to get the combination of 240w PD and high transfer rates, you have to pay a bit more.My only request is that the labeling on the cable itself is updated to reflect the updated labeling from the USB-IF, which would make it clearer the capabilities of this cable. As is, I'm not sure what the labeling actually means (USB V3?). Not a huge issue if you don't have a lot of similar looking cables though.

A high quality & high capacity cable!
This 1.8m length cable is just what I needed for fast-charging my laptop and/or multiple devices with a 140W charging block:— The cable exceeds the wattage output of my charging station, so will not "throttle" the charging rate of multiple connected devices (such as a MacBook Pro and/or a 3-in-1 charging station for an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods).— The cable is sheathed in relatively beefy insulation. My only minor quibble is that this cable's heavy insulation makes it stiffer than a couple of similar cables I have with woven insulation.— There's a well-designed strain-relief jacket on both connectors.— The USB-C connectors insert very securely into my 2016-vintage MacBook Pro's USB-C ports. This solid connection is a big improvement over the Apple OEM charging cable. This cable is a bit pricey, but I'm impressed with the quality and capacity. Recommended!

Works great on my Apple MacBook Pro
This USB cable works great on my 2022 MacBook Pro. I can't vouch for its ability to charge at the stated max of 220W, but it works at the Mac's max USB charging speed of ~90W.The cable itself seems durable, if a little stiff (to be expected, I guess, for something that needs to handle 220W?). I recommend this cable even if the price wasn't exactly a bargain.

Working
I needed a full featured USB-C for a graphic tablet. It works and I no longer need the HDMI cable + USB Power Adapter.

Cavo spettacolare, TOP!
