Ubcwin PiCAN2 CAN-Bus Board for Raspberry 3

brilliant bit of kit, been using multiple of these for automative projects. They are easy to use, theres libraries that let you program in a multitude of different languages (I use mainly nodeJS) A word of warning though, if using this model on a pi4, use a cooler! The pi4 gets much hotter than previous versions, and after waking up one morning after leaving it running the pican was roasting from the heat generated by the pi4. There is a pican3 out that is meant for the pi4, the schematics don't seem largely different in terms of how temperature would affect.My youtube channel has lots videos displaying what can be acheived with these (UC69PLXXfDEmxNXQXY63ff_w)

Great add on board. I use it to interface to a high speed CAN bus at 500k, implementing UDS diagnostics.Its easy to set up, theres a few examples online. I'm programming it using python but you can use C/C++ is you prefer.If you just want to set it up as a CAN bus logger its a piece of cake.
