Good movie , a lot of war facts and action

Did you know the Battleship Texas was in World War I and World War II, serving in the Atlantic and the Pacific! I have enjoyed learning facts I had no idea existed about our Battleship Fleet. The famous Yorktown, Enterprise, Arizona and the sub Nautilus! Hero Ships has 13 documentaries on 4 DVDs for just under 11hours of serious History for History addicts to consume. Watch it over and over, it's really good!

Gift for my nephew. My Dad was on the USS Texas. My nephew is interested in anything that has to do with Grandpop'sNavy time.

This a very entertaining and informative series. It is really well researched and produced. My only complaint is that there aren't more battleships. This is a must have for the military history connoisseur.

During WWI, my Father was stationed on the USS Texas. He was thrilled to hear that there was a video he could watch to rekindle all those memories. At 87 years of age, he remember his commanding officer and the 14 inch guns. You should see the sparkle in his eyes when he talks about those years of his life.

Never knew so much about certain ships. Pretty much thought that all ships were just ships until watching the histories of these ships and the crews that sailed them. Brought back memories of my father from WWII and his sea going experiences. Well done set of videos.

Good dvd.

Very informative, and has a lot of heart to it. Would highly recommend ! Covers a lot of ground, lets you get to know a lot about the ship itself, and see the personal attatchment the sailors get to their ships.
