The product works well and seems better than the price would imply. The only drawback is the depth of the cutters - it would be nicer if you didn’t have to disassemble it to get the cores out.

I bought this hole saw to cut the holes in the making of cornhole boards. As I read some of the reviews about kickback I had every intention of using my drillpress to assist me in cutting the holes.After setting everything up and slowing my drillpress down to about 600 rpm's,I couldn't use it anyway because the throat on the drillpress wasn't deep enough to allow me to cut the hole on my plywood where I wanted it.So,plan "B", I went to my cordless 20v hand drill(and you will need a 1/2" chuck on your drill for this).After stabilizing my work piece I center punched the hole center for the pilot bit so it wouldn't wonder upon starting.Go slow( my drill also has variable speed),it does grab and jerk because you can't keep it perfectly perpendicular as you would be able to with a stationary drillpress. After getting through the first hole( and I flipped the workpiece over after cutting about half way through-to prevent tear out).I switched to my hammer drill which is a little bigger and more importantly,has a side handle to further stabilize the process.If you have a hammer drill,go with it versus a regular drill because it will kick on you.overall,a very nice hole saw for the money.I only gave a 4 star rating because of the included instructions,I think they could have been a little more informative as is this review.

I'm using the hole saw for the first time. It was easy to put things together and make holes. The pack has enough saw sizes to take care of almost all the jobs.I ordered this to make things around the house and keep my toddler son involved. My first job from the saw kit was making a little birdhouse. I used the 2 1/2-inch saw to make the door, and it came out well. I used the sander to smoothen the edges of the door circle.

Make sure you follow the directions with the use of the item with the pilot drill bit. I have cut many things with this and every time it has cut like butter.Items ranging from plastic to wood but none the less it has done a great job and the teeth are still sharp after a couple cuts.

This is a very excellent product for the price the main grills are excellent and it came with three drill bits which was very nice,it came in a fantastic carrying case and the blades seemed to be very sharp.
