Very interesting book which I couldn't put down

Bought as a present and has been enjoyed as the persons it was for live in Sheffield

A good historical review of the radicals and progressives who struggled for change in Sheffield. The recent ones well illustrate the difficulties that can be encountered when trouble makers become policy makers!

Like all Sheffield books it's the tops.

Brilliant

I'd seen this book before but now I have had a chance to read it, I am very intrigued by the history of the city I have lived in for many years. You need not be a specialist to find this fascinating.
