Just my opinion
This is by far the best skateboard for the price. The quality can be explained like this ... Military and hospital grade products are far superior than consumer grade products and it's like that for many reasons. This skateboard is like military and hospital grade stuff. It is far superior and was engineered really well... I am not a pro skateboarder but I am pretty decent at riding one and honestly with it's 4 different speeds settings with 1 being slowest and 4 being fastest I am comfortable at #2 setting because it is plenty fast at that level and doesn't feel like it will throw you off the board like settings #3 and #4. Setting three is so fast you have to be prepared to take off otherwise you will lose balance and setting for is outrageous and shouldn't even be a setting. Maybe there's people who can skateboard far better than me but I am pretty good at it. The thing I like about this board is the wheels I bought cheaper boards like razors and razor deluxes and if you hit a rock you will fall off and hurt yourself. This board hits rocks and it just goes right over them like it's nothing so buy something else unless you're ready for the anxiety riding an electric skateboard causes. This board makes you feel less anxiety and feel more trust in the board that you won't fly off while riding but you seriously can get real hurt if you're not careful or ready for a fall. This board's battery lasts a long time but I can tell that the battery life span is shortening every time I use it. I couldn't tell you how long a full charge last but it last pretty long enough to get you around town and back home without having anxiety of it dying. A single full charge last me about 3 days and each time I ride it and those 3 days is about an hour each day. So if you do the math it's about 3 hours of riding for a full charge... That is just a estimation and isn't the real results that's just what happened for me. Anyways this board is real quality very sturdy doesn't it perfect height perfect smoothness oh and the worst thing about it though is the grip tape is too grippy I feel like I can't move my feet while I'm riding and I don't like that because I want to find my balance point and because it's so grippy I can't move my feet around while riding due to the anxiety of falling off at a high rate of speed. It's great fun though.

6'1" 240+ lb "athletic man in 30s" review
First off, I have been skating for a very long time period I did most of my skating from the ages of 13 to 20 period longboards and shortboards. Gotta escape boards period period Mebo. Is the company I found in 2018, I ordered their V-2 from their site period only good things to say about that, still works 2 day and it's been about 6 years period I have put a lot of miles on that board period I have tried the meatball minute 2. And have Seen the videos with mixed reviews. I feel like some of these videos? Can be biased and/or have gotten a weird board, it happens. That's why there is a return policy. Asfar as the mini 5, feels like an upgrade in most ways. The acceleration and breaking are both much smoother. The Mini 2 was more abrupt and the braking was choppy, imo (vs the Mini 5). I have gotten the v2 up to 30 mph. I know this board is capable as stated. I got the Mini 5 regular. I did not need the extended version as I use this mostly for fun and the 30 plus minutes is more than enough. The battery, I'm sure, is a little lower than advertised due to the size of me.The trucks, wheels, concave of the board all very top notch. It is what I expected from Meepo. I can see a beginner getting used to this on the first speed and eventually working up. I can also see an advanced skater handle this board and have a lot of fun.I also tried a belted board from a different company that coat 2x twice the amount and the acceleration and braking was super sketchy and the board super stiff.I would love to eventually try Meepo's belted version. That would be awesome. If your thinking about this Mini 5, it's a MeepoThey continue to make quality products.

First impressions
This thing blew me away with its build quality and its sheer power. I haven’t been able to reach top speed due to it being kind of sketchy at those speeds on the shorter deck but I’m sure I could hit it with more experience with it. Iv rode longboards and skateboard so that skill transferred over for sure but the power was pretty wild to have. Over all I’d recommend this board to anyone who is pretty experienced board rider this thing is sweet! Thanks meepo!

Don't buy this if you want more than 2 months of use
Its a great board, to bad customer service is horrible. The battery case cracked and they refused to replace it, I purchased it on my own, and a month later they contacted me saying they messed up and it should be covered....but I had already handled it. A week later the board just stops working. I contacted them for 8 days strait via every contact method available. No response. Expect a great product for 60 days until it breaks and no one helps fix the issue. Would be 5 stars if it didn't break. 4 stars if someone helped after it broke. Instead I just lose $500
