I was giving my adult mini schnauzer a different salmon kibble dog food from Costco that only came in a huge bag. I needed to find an alternate that came in a smaller bag. I worried about maintaining the freshness when it took so long to go through. I was giving Blue Buffalo chicken and brown rice to my other 2 dogs so I thought I'd try their brand of salmon. He likes it, and seems to be handling the switch just fine. I'm actually using the dry kibble as a crunchy topper to home made dog food. (A combo of cooked chicken, rice or sweet potatoes, carrots and other veggies.) One of my other dogs had pancreatitis, and that caused the whole change of food. They all were getting a little too thin on the low fat home made food. Adding the dry kibble seems to be the magic combo, and I can cater to dogs' needs or preferences buying smaller bags. They are all at a good weight now with no digestive issues

Not too strong of a smell, and the dog likes it. We would buy the bigger bag, but the midsize one has a zip seal that’s convenient.

Switched to this food on a recommendation due to my dog's sensitive stomach. She is happy now!

I like the package size knowing it’s not going to sit for a long time in the containers. My dog is very picky and loves salmon. I am very pleased.
