I purchased the model without a remote control.I use this item so much with my 360° camera, it's perfect for my needs.Very versatile due to the removable tripod base to use as a standalone or with the adjustable height extension pole. It all adjusts down to a pole a little over a foot long and is very easy to carry around.The parts that need to be quality and heavy duty are, and the parts that perform the lighter actions are fit for purpose too.Twist the pole sections to unlock and extend to your desired height and simply twist in the opposite direction to collapse.Regarding comments about the tripod feet becoming loose... mine have been fine for 6 months or so having a little resistance when positioning the feet. I left it in my car for several days in cold weather and they became very loose. They still did the job so not a big problem to me but i have noticed the resistance returning when kept somewhere warm... like i say, not a major problem for me either way.The item has a nice rubber comfort grip and a wrist strap when walking and carrying your camera between photo opportunities.I would only use this item for small compact cameras, mobile phones, go-pros etc and cameras such as my small Samsung 360°.Anything large would make it too top heavy in my humble opinion.Really like the item and so glad i bought it, it's been perfect, highly recommend.

I'm using the selfie stick with stand which screws in to bottom right now on my holiday in jordan at one of the wonders of the world the stand is light weight easy to use folds away small enough to fit in a small 18 litre day back pack it extends to just the right height to take a picture it is stable enough in windy conditions it can hold action cams and compact cams and phone it comes with phone holder. The pole feels very well made and is nice and sturdy, however the maximum length of 36" is only achieved by using the tripod base folded up as an extension. You then have to hold the tripod legs which are smooth coated metal rather than the nice rubberised hand-grip. Also the wrist strap is then not usable as it's 7 inches further up from where you'll be holding on to. The screws on the tripod section are steel and suspect they'll rust terribly if used in the sea (I got the pole for snorkelling), so I'm a bit disappointing that the actual usable pole is only 29" for water use. Still a great quality item, but please update the listing to correctly reflect how you get 36" out of it.

I was put off by some reviews but I really wanted this. It is small when collapsed and when you extend it, it does stretch pretty high. Simply twist the poles to unlock and pull. Then twist the other way to lock. I can tell it’s not the most professionally built tripod in the world but I didn’t expect that anyway. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t any good because it is!! Some people have mentioned sturdiness and to be honest I can see that being a problem with a heavy camera and in stronger winds but for me I am using a Osmo Mobile 2 gimbal with iPhone 8 Plus and it takes the weight well. The legs of the tripod open wide. A bit wider would have solved the sturdiness thing but I personally haven’t had any problems myself. If you plan to go balancing this on an uneven surface on the edge of Mount Everest then that’s not intelligent at all and it’ll be time to say goodbye to your gear. You’d need a good strong sturdy tripod for rugged use and rocky surroundings but for general use on flatter surfaces you won’t have any issues at all. The tripod legs detach and can be used as a handle for holding your camera. Love this!

Designed to hold either a smartphone in the clip supplied, or a GoPro camera with the compatible mount adaptor supplied. The twist locking mechanism for the telescoping pole is simple and effective and provides a good length. The separate screw-on tripod legs are solid and provide extra length overall should you need it as well as versatility of use. With the tripod legs attached and no extension, great for video calls etc with everything sitting on a table. Or if you sit on a slightly lower seat, place the whole thing on the floor with the pole extended - it's pretty stable. As the attached ball-and-socket head on the pole has a standard 1/4 screw thread you could also mount smaller compact cameras. When used with a GoPro camera, a GoPro remote control is very useful to have also.

Pleased with selfie stick

This is a pleasingly well made item and I am very happy with it. Obviously you do need to be careful, as it would probably topple over fairly easily, given the smallish base and height - but that is just a factor of the design. I like the design other than that - it is very compact and easy to carry, and with a 360-deg camera you need a compact base - so I am happy to treat it as a topple-risk. Would avoid using outside on a windy day though. If you need one for outside use or an uneven surfaces - you might be better off with a different unit.

Excellent made product, but fortunately when using with the Ricoh Theta 360 camera the ball head lock knob is very intrusive in the photograph.

Me gustó mucho su estructura es sólida y estable...

Absolutely fantastic! Used it to film in both salt and fresh water with a dji action 2. A small wear and tear issue was easily fixed with a drop of super glue. Great quality.(Did not try the mobile phone holder.)

Ottimo prodotto, molto comodo e di buona manifattura. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Il materiale è robusto ma neanche troppo pesante, i tre segmenti si bloccano e sbloccano a rotazione ed è dotato pure di tre piedi, questo bello pesante per dargli stabilità, se non serve si può svitare e nel caso non portarselo dietro. Ha il supporto regolabile a molla per gli smartphone e il fissaggio a vite per le actioncam. Io l'ho usato per fare riprese subacquee in mare e mi sono trovato molto bene. Ovviamente consiglio di sciacquarlo con acqua dolce dopo ogni utilizzo.

(+) Me iba de viaje y buscaba un palo selfie que sirviera tanto para móvil como para cámara. Había hecho ya un par de compras no satisfactorias por Amazon de palos selfies que, bien no valían para mi cámara, bien no funcionaban, por lo que estaba siendo bastante difícil encontrar uno que cumpliera estos criterios. Estoy contenta con la compra: el palo es robusto y funcional. Si bien lo he usado fundamentalmente para móvil, en cuyo caso funciona perfectamente, para mi cámara (Sony alpha) como palo puede resultar poco práctico (debido al peso), pero sí que lo he usado como trípode con la cámara para tomar fotos de grupo.(-) Como pequeñas pegas, no tiene bluetooth ni ningún tipo de control remoto, lo que ya lo haría perfecto (has de programar tú el teléfono con la cuenta atrás para fotografía, y lo mismo con la cámara), y pesa un poco (aunque por otro lado si no pesara resultaría inestable). En general, buena calidad-precio, estoy satisfecha :)

Comme dit dans le titre, pour le moment je ne l'ai utilisé qu'avec une caméra, genre Gopro, et mon smartphone et ça tient très bien.Le trépied comme la perche sont en métal et ça donne une sensation de qualité et de robustesse.D'ailleurs après 5 weekends de randonnée, transporté dans mon sac à dos ou utilisé comme perche à selfie tout au long du chemin, aucun signe de fatigue ou d'usure prématuré.A voir dans le temps, mais très content de mon achat pour le moment
