End of the rope.
You cannot crush the aglet tight enough to grip the lace. If you crush them too much they deform and then won’t go through the eyelet. Too loose and they fall off. Doomed to fail in the first instance. Don’t get me going about the amount of g force an aglet is subjected too.

Pointless
I had hoped this would solve the problem of frayed ended laces, but the pieces are made of flimsy metal and they pull off the lace ends easily. I’d love a refund

So-so.
The eyelets are fine. The tool is about worthless for making eyelets. Spend the extra money and get the tool made for eyelets. This is just a needle nosed pliers.
