They do the job. They wash well. They're easy to button/unbutton. They look, well, cute. That's about it.

These need to be changed on a daily basis due to hypergranulation, and other secretions that are released from the stoma. Sadly, they don't hold their shape and need to be scrub brushed prior to washing. I usually use a tooth brush purchased solely for brushing the pad, but the inner circle will fray. I then soak them in a plastic baggie with hot water and some Dreft baby clothing machine detergent. Then they are placed in a lingerie bag and washed in dreft to get them as clean as possible. For the most part, if I'm lucky I am able to use one 3 times. The product is great, just wish the price was a teeny bit better. Anyone know of a better way to clean them so they last longer?

I've thrown them in with my regular clothes washing. They come out pretty good. If you have a bit of leakage like I tyoically do, put a little Spray & Wash or something similar on the stained area and they seem to come out pretty good. I can only get one day out of them so it's great I can just wash them.

These are soft and so useful. I highly recommend them. They make life easier, sanitary, and comfortable.

Protects better than gauze pads

I have to feed myself through a gtube through a stoma. This items covers the area very nicely and keeps it somewhat protected. Recommended by my physician's assistant.
