Can you attach the adhesive to a case or does it need to attach to the actual phone?

It can be attached to a case but I would suggest a smooth case. I replaced my case (real-wood) as it was too textured to make good adhesion. Also ensure you use the alcohol wipe to prepare the surface and it will stick real good.

How many do you get in the pack?

You get one in a single pack or two in a double pack. Both packs come with spare adhesive disks.

Does this item stick to tampered glass cases?

I don’t know about tempered glass as the leverage through using the ring might shatter the glass but I’ve got mine on the humix holder , it’s been on a couple of months and it’s solid. It sticks to anything!

Can you buy additional sticky pads separately?

Yes, you will be able to. They're just 3M circular adhesive pads; around 1.5-2cm in diameter.
