ok plastic could have been thicker grade

Early days yet but product seems to be durable and hard floor protective. Only four stars because of tendency to change position due to rolling of computer chair castors.

Bought to go in my study, it is quite thin and flimsy, wanting to use it to protect the carpet but it's to thin. And you just sink into it.

Excellent, discreet and perfect for purpose

When I ordered this item on September 28th, the description read "Frosted Chair Mat with Lip for Carpet Floors- 90x120cm (3'x4') - No-Recycling Material". Not only did my office chair sink into the carpet when I put it on this mat, the edges of the mat wrinkled up around it, causing a tripping hazard. The mat I received is a very thin, flexible mat -- with no "LIP" -- which is OBVIOUSLY intended to protect a hardwood floor and NOT a carpeted floor. When I logged in to Amazon to arrange a return, the description had been changed to "Frosted Chair Mat with Lip for Carpet Floors- 90x120cm (3'x4') - OGIMA Carpet Hard Floor Protection for Office Chair - No-Recycling Material" -- so, which of the two items in that description is it?! I now have to trudge to the Post Office with a heavy and awkward return package.

Does the job OK.

Poor packing. Cannot get it to lie flat. From China -- what a shame that such things have to be transported half way around the world at the expense of the planet. I would pay more for less miles and better quality.
