Best electric shaver out there
I have a full head of hair, I just prefer to shave it so was unsure if this was going to be “man enough” for the job, and I have been very pleasantly surprised. It’s obviously not as close as wetshaving with a razor, but the effect given with the Skull Shaver is about that of 6 hours growth after shaving with a razor, which I think is about as good as you’re going to get without using a razor blade. If I don’t shave for a few days, this is great for getting it close so I can have an easy wet shave after. To be honest, if I were balding, I’d probably just use this every day or two and be done with it!I actually dropped mine on my kitchen floor and broke the head, and was going to buy another complete unit but the replacement heads are also available on Amazon, which is a real bonus.Charge time from dead to max charge is about 4 hours, with the supplied standard shaver two-pin plug socket cable. Full charge easily lasts enough to give me four great shaves, although as with anything like this, you’re better off going in with a full charge, especially if you’re not naturally balding.Cleaning is simple and fast, overall just a very convenient way to shave your head.I am absolutely not a fan of electric shavers, but this is by far the best on the market for head shaving, in my opinion. I still prefer the feel of a wet shave, but this is a great alternative.

Not Great
The head shaver market is not vast and the Pitbull is the one everyone raves about, but frankly I think it is heavily overpriced. I bought the silver because the only mechanical difference between this and the other two is the battery life... this one is supposed to have 20 mins shaving time, and it does, but it is sluggish after 5 and then you have to keep going over areas and pushing down to get it done. I find myself waiting until it is fully charged and then going hell for leather to get as much done as i can before it slumps. The blades themselves feel ok, as advertised there is no irritation and I have yet to be cut. Cleaning the unit is easy and fast with no mess, which is great. It fits comfortably in the hand if using it by holding the main body, but if you hold the blade unit for a closer feel the finger slots are too big and far away so you feel the dead weight of the thing.I wouldn’t buy this again but i’ll use it until it dies. No carry case and the warranty is only valid in America. 2 pin plug means you need an adaptor... all adds up to too much money for something that is more hassle than it is worth.Spend 115 or 130 respectively to get aome gucci attachments and a longer life battery, but bear in mind that is a longer life battery, not a more powerful one

Easy to use, great results, and lasts for a surprisingly long time between charges
As a head shaver, this just works. It's easy to use and five-blade cutting head is large enough to allow me to easily shave by feel without missing spots. The exceptionally long battery life will give circa 20 shaves between charges and can be used wet or dry (the shave is that good an non-abrasisve that I now exclusively and daily use it dry). The head is detachable, but just tapping it against the palm of your hand allows you to knock out clippings on a day to day basis, and as the head, NOT the battery section, can be submerged, it's easy to rinse it clean under warm running water if needed. It works best if used in a tight circular motion as you move it either backwards/forwards/side-to-side overall and a daily shave is done with in under a minute and without so much as a hint of a shaving rash.I don't use if for facial shaving personally, so I've no experience regarding performance in that regard, but my gut feeling is that the large cutting heads which so capable lend themselves to a head-shaver might become cumbersome and restrictive in that application.Wholeheartedly recommend this shaver.

Does exactly what they say it will do!!
I am not one for reviews as I find them full of people complaining about anything and everything but felt this deserved a mentionMany products claim to do something they don't and you often find the idealistic advertisements are far from the truth when you finally get your hands on the productI've used my Pitbull Silver twice now and it really is the easiest and quickest way I've ever found to shave my head. When I had it delivered it was plugged in and fully charged in about 40mins then, being impatient, I tried it straight out on hair probably the length of a No1 and it cut through it and left an amazing close shave and I was all done in under 10minsThe second time was even easier. 5mins in between getting ready for work and I was freshly shaved again and left with a look only a messy Bic and shaving cream gives me and in a fraction of the timeAn all round perfect shave and at no inconvenience to me at all

Not as Robust as it claims....
Overall the shave is okay. For an electric shaver.... I found it a little weak when accidentally dropped. It fell from a bedside shelf, 500mm. Two of the rotating heads came off with the head cover. The advertising states"Protection from unexpected drops and jolts due to strong casing."I didint see much protection on the item on a small drop. If it slipped from my hands whilst using it the fall would be 180cm....would it survive....I don't think so!Still....lesson learnt....don't drop it!

Well just got the skull shaver today, Read lots of reviews on all skull shaver products so thought I would take the risk and try the silver because its the cheapest. However on first impressions it seems pretty good. Easy to use and gives a pretty good cut. Obviously its not as good as a razor cut but its the closest thing out there. Not sure how long the blades will last and how long the motor will last as well but seems a good product so far.
