Very comprehensive, detailed Tiger I guide BUT updated version available!
Haynes does a lovely job in collaboration with those nice chaps at the Tank Museum but they have recently released a new version with a different cover and title, found on the link below. Beware of buying both, as I did, as they are actually the same book between the covers!https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tiger-Haynes-Icons-Michael-Hayton/dp/1785216872/ref=pd_ys_iyr4

I've read most Tiger tank books, but this one is up there with the best.Every detail about the tank is discussed and the reader has great access to all the quality pictures that describe the Tiger. If you have any questions about the Tiger?, I'm sure the answer is in this book.I fully recommend this book to all Panzer enthusiasts.

Interesting.
Interesting reading but hardly a workshop manual. Like most others in this series I enjoyed reading this book, however, in my opinion, this was more a superficial history of Tigers and a register of surviving examples. There are much better books on the Tiger but I enjoyed it nevertheless and it isn't bad value for money.

Highly recommended
Having flicked through a friends copy I thought I'd buy this book for myself. What an excellent book it is too. Describing the history of The Tank Museums own Tiger 1 and later in the book showing you the workings and the how and whys of its various components. Easy to read and follow and packed with information. Haynes have put together a great book in conjunction with The Tank Museum.

Bought as a present, very impressed
I thought it was a superb book, and the recipient liked it to. I have to admit I am reviewing at present as Amazon are blocking my reviews and this is a test. Outside of that, its a great book, and I hope others in the series are as good

tanks a lot
bought for my husband who knows a frighteningly large amount about tanks and he loved it. great range of details ,drawings and photos, the writing sometimes lacks a bit of polish and can be a bit forced, but overall he loved it. now trying to find valid excuse to not go back to bovington

a good introduction to the tank
a good introduction to the tank, covers most points in detail. ideal for modellers, if you are interested in the operations and the panzerregiments using them you will have to look further. i await the haynes manual of the konig tiger.
