It is a simple device that just gets the job done when you need to share a phone line.

When our landline phone line went dead, I finally tracked the problem to the inline splitter. After checking every local retail store within a fifteen mile radius, I discovered that (a) it appears there aren’t many of us old landline’s around anymore, and (b) it’s getting nearly impossible to find replacement parts. Then I checked Amazon and found an abundant assortment of splitters. Since this one had a number of good reviews, I decided to give it a try. Two days later, thanks to Amazon’s fast shipping, I received this splitter. Wasting no time I plugged it into the wall outlet, then into my phone and computer line, and I’m back in the business of receiving an endless number of annoying scam calls, offering to lower a mortgage I don’t have, or to reduce the credit card debt I don’t have, and other scammers trying to sell me a bunch of stuff I don’t want or need. Come to think of it, maybe I should give this device a one star rating, because it works a little to well.

I needed this to daisy chain a cordless phone with only one jack between my desktop phone and an answering machine. It does the job, and it didn't cost much, but as you can see from the photo, this is very chaeply manufactured.
