Bulb reducer
These reducers work as expected and allow a smaller size light bulb fitting to be used. Well made and price was good for three.

Good fit
I bought 2 for each shade as the plastic reducer the shade came with was useless. Best to use one on top and the other underneath. Perfect grip now.

Does the job well and solves me from having to buy a different light shade
Does the job perfectly. The hole on my light shade was too big at 4cm and could therefore not go on my ceiling light. This solved the problem: I put the light shade on (hole diameter 4cm) then this gadget on (diameter 6cm) then I screwed in the ‘skirt’ bit of the light and then popped in the lightbulb. (It also stops light going through the top of the light shade). Clever little gadget - so simple but effective. Paid £4.49 for 3 of them.

Very sturdy and easy to use
I bought this for an old lamp, I recently purchased a new shade and it wasn't compatible with the lamp, with this little adapter I was able to install the lampshade I liked. They are made of metal, very sturdy and durable. Very easy to use, just as this rings and the lampshade of your choice on top

These work after a fashion
These discs do hold the shade in place, but I have had quite a job getting the retaining ring back onto the threaded section of the bulb holder as it has to go on top of two of the discs plus the shade.

A wobbly lampshade problem solved.
A long term wobbly lampshade on an old table lamp was caused by an old adaptor that was worn/broken. This double 'washer' unit fitted snugly over the lamp holder and as one was facing one way and the other the other way, neatly held the lampshade built-in bracket which became clamped as the two 'washer' were held together by the security ring of the lampholder as it was screwed down. Voilà.

This is great product, considering the rise of edison sized lampshades in Perth, Western Australia and most houses still have Bayonet sized ceiling lighting Just a shame no Australian company makes them but thank god for Amazon service
