This makes so much sense, when you stop to think about it. I've been using this device for a couple of months now and can honestly say that the machine hasn't moved at all.The biggest problem I had was finding a large enough gap in a fairly tight-fitting integrated washing machine housing to poke the pump out of sight. But I've managed to squeeze it in and once the door is closed, you'd never know it's there.The Steady Spin Anti-Vibration Washing Machine Pad is quite a bit more of an initial outlay than a simple rubber mat or rubber feet but it's so much easier to fit because it's just slipped on top of the machine and then inflated to fill the gap between the machine and the worktop above. To fit a rubber mat or feet you'd have to lift the machine and try to slide the mat or feet underneath (a real problem if you have an integrated machine or one that is slotted in between fitted kitchen units).But the real selling point is that this device works so much better at reducing vibration and noise, and that's what makes it well worth the extra cost.

This is such a simple, yet an amazing tool. My washing machine no longer tries to escape the cupboard. It stays put, little vibration, and because of lower level of vibrations, it reduced the noise levels as well. Amazing thing.

So if you have a gap between a counter and the top of the washing machine, and the frame of the washing machine is sufficiently rigid, it works shockingly well. Like when you see what it is, it feels and looks pretty stupid. Like I was very skeptical, especially since I had read other reivews that complained of it deflating (an issue that I haven't had), but it does work (well enough).Now, is it better than putting rubber pads/feet under the machine, (or better yet putting the machine on a solid concrete surface)? Probably not. That's what you should try first. Unfortunately for me, my washing machine sits on a plywood surface, and I can't easily lift or move it such as to put the rubber pads under it. In my situation (and maybe yours) it will work well enough for the spin cycle not to be an issue.Note that to inflate it, you use a pump similar to those found in older blood pressure pumps. That pump is non removeable, and you will need to have enough of a gap to squeeze it in and out of view. If you can do, it's not much of an issueOverall a surprising recommend.

Absolutely fantastic!What can I say - I bought a new washing machine with a bigger drum and because of this the washer started to move- the noise was unbearable and the machine was coming away from the units.Because my washing machine is such a tight fit I couldn’t put it under the worktop- so instead I have inflated and put it to use on one side and this has worked wonders! The machine is pushed against one unit and with the remaining space left I have used to inflate the device- it works it really does! I do have to keep inflating it every time I wash but this literally takes seconds- I can honestly say this device is utterly fantastic- the best £18 I have spent! If you’re struggling like me with noise, vibration and movement I would highly recommend.

Great idea and when fully inflated works a treat. The washing machine doesn’t move at all. Unfortunately it deflates after a couple of wash cycles and needed pumping up again.
